Alyssa did what her father sent her to do before going to the radio station and found the answers Earth needed to communicate with the alien planet. She would go to the media and bring everyone's attention to what she had to say. To think of attention or popularity immediately after her father passed on is absurd. All that mattered to her was no more lives being lost. She remembered the day her father went to the city. Could that be when he had contacted the virus? She couldn't tell. Drowned in her ocean of thoughts, Ambrose came to mind. Feelings of regret washed over her. She had spoken to him

rudely the last time he came to see her. Why was she thinking about him now? She should be more concerned about what she came here to do. Besides, he had probably forgotten about it. When next she will be seeing him, she'd offer her sincere apology.

She paused and cringed at the thought of Ambrose coming to look for her again. She

appreciated his gifts, but she wanted him to stop his pursuit. There could never be anything

between them. He was delusional. The sooner he woke up from his fantasy, the

faster he'd move on. But why couldn't he leave her alone? Why his obsession? She had no room in her life for Ambrose or anyone else for that matter. What was she to do? Feelings can't be forced, and friendship was as far as she could go.

She quickly centered her mind back to the present. She drew an unsteady breath and realized she was making an impact - whether or not anyone was going to listen to an eighteen-year-old girl.

What if the government is not interested in what she has to say? What if her words were treated with levity? How sure was she the governor was listening to her? She only did what she thought was right. She hoped this wouldn't turn against her. She had seen people reach out to help, and it backfired. She didn't want her words to be looked down upon. Nowadays, people seemed to listen to those who had power and money. All she had was her voice. At most, they could cast her words aside and think she was only making up the Lincos language to gain popularity or attention.

Fortunately, the governor had his ears hooked to the radio. He was mesmerized by her

knowledge. Whether or not she was taught these things didn't matter to the fact that she had brains. Governments had tried not to spread the word about aliens because that is the least of citizens' worries with this pandemic.

The despondent state of the economy got the Governor buried in his thoughts daily. More and more people were dying of the Cilomina virus pandemic. They were under the umbrella of the cilomina virus, infesting crops everywhere. He thought it a badge of honor to be the one to think outside the box. The team of experts in NASA and all over the world could not be relied upon, but this girl might be onto something. As far as he was concerned, NASA was only wasting their time. Even if the aliens finally came to their aid, how would they communicate with them? The Martial language they speak is not synonymous with the English language in any way.

"We don't fully understand an alien language, but that doesn't mean we can't communicate with another planet. But there is a way out of this. Lincos is a language both aliens and humans can use in communicating with one another." A feminine voice emitting from the radio station snap the meditative Governor out of his thoughts. She didn't sound more than eighteen years of age.

Could a new language be explicitly created for communicating with the aliens? The Governor thought to himself.

"There are studies that theorize that Lincos can be well-understood by any intelligent life, especially between humans and aliens in this case. It doesn't matter if the aliens speak the Martial language and we speak earth language. All that matters is to get the Lincos dictionary so we can code the Martial language that the aliens speak."

Where can this Lincos dictionary be found? She'd never heard of it before. The Governor wanted to know more.

"If you must know, Dr. Hans Freudenthal 1960 invented this language after three years of living on an alien planet for a research job. There is just a single dictionary of Lincos here on earth, and there is such device to help translate it," Alyssa continued. She was the eloquent voice the Governor heard on the radio station.

So we have to look for this one single dictionary? The Governor reasoned.

"My point is, Lincos language can interpret the English language to Martial language and vice versa. As a result, the aliens would be very much knowledgeable in speaking earth language. We didn't even know where that one is, and NASA had been unable to find it out, but I did. It was lost but not anymore. So please, I would like to implore the Governor to reach out to His Excellency. In turn, his Excellency reaches out to the President of the United States, who informs NASA to contact the aliens with their technology and start sending the message. By the time they are spoken to in English, we would know if the Lincos language can work. Mr. Governor, we commend your efforts so far in tackling the pandemic. Thank you very much," Alyssa concluded, having delivered all the contents of her father's letter. He found out about Lincos through enormous research from his early days when he visited Somalia for a project.

He believed the aliens were the only solution. She thought how this must have occurred to him until the time of his death that the Lincos dictionary their ancestors had helped create could be used to communicate between humans and aliens.

Alyssa hoped her revelation would ease the tension of the people and provoke the action of the Governor.

She dashed back to her in and began to pack a few things in preparation to leave the next day.

Meanwhile, the Governor was in awe. Who is this girl? How did she know about Lincos's language? Something he'd never heard all his life.

But what was more important is contacting His Excellency. He was sure by now he would have listened to the radio program too.

"Get me in touch with NASA, call EVERYONE, and bring this Alyssa girl and the Lincos translator."
