"Tanaka, do you have any requests on where we hang out tomorrow? I have an idea but I wanted to ask fist." Soina said over the phone
The two were yes, hanging out BUT. They had absolutely no idea where to go, and they both had an agreement: nothing loud or crowded. Simple! But Soina has been shooting ideas for a while now and none of them had seemed to reach Gundam's level of comfort, so at this point she was asking him.
"Well..my desire to go anywhere specific is practically zero, so I suppose I don't have a say in the matter." Gundam said, feeling sleepiness take over his body before he shook his head.
"Hm..well, this is really my last idea haha, but...perhaps you'd enjoy a shop! A coffee shop in fact! It's not very popular surprisingly so I think not many people would be there with us!" Soina smiled brightly as she continued her night routine

It couldn't hurt right?

"I'd enjoy...that" the boy said yawning halfway through his sentence
"Oh how lovely! Well what time should we meet up!!" The blonde girl exclaimed, obviously excited.
"I don't mind much as long as it doesn't seem like to have coffee if that makes sense.." he said finally getting into bed, it also earned him a small giggle from the princess. "My my Tanaka it seems you're quite tired aren't you? Well, I won't pester you any longer, goodnight Gundam." She said calmly as she hung up the phone.

Before he knew it he fell asleep.

The breeder and princess walked to the small building, it looked more and more cozy the closer they got. Sure it was small but it didn't matter much "So Tanaka! I'm bringing a few things in my bag in case we begin to get bored, is that alright with you?" She said, her smile being as bright as ever
"Mmh.." Gundam felt a strange feelings take over his body, he didn't know why but he did know that it started when he saw a blur of pink

As they walked in the smell of coffee overtook both of the ultimate's noses
"Okay, Tanaka may I ask- oh!" She saw that no one was currently at the front, she rung the small bell and out cake that blur of pink that made his stomach feel uncomfortable...
"Oh-hey, sorry about that! Anyways what can I get for the two of you?" As much as he hated to admit it..
The boy was cute-
It seemed his hair was long enough to pull into a ponytail, his eyes matched his vibrant hair and his teeth were oddly sharp looking. He looked at the name tag that was placed on his chest and it read 'souda'...

The S wasn't a capital letter-
Tanaka felt a light giggle escape his mouth, thankfully no one being able to hear it.
"So what can I get ya?" His smile was warm and honestly beautiful, "um..I'd enjoy-" Gundam turned all noises off, he was thinking

Why was he feeling so fuzzy..it felt weird..
"And what could I get you dude?"

His thoughts were broken like glass "I don't usually do activities like this so I really wouldn't know." He admitted feeling his heart pound faster and faster "you've never been to a place like this? Hah, well take your time to decide dude, no rush"

It felt like a rush, Soina was naming off options for him yet he could barely hear her from his own heartbeat
"May I request you just pick for me? I don't want to chose." He blurted. "Hell yeah! I've always wanted to do that, can I get your names?"
"Soina and Gundam! Thank you very much um..." she somehow didn't notice the name tag and got a whisper "Kazuichi" Tanaka said rather quickly "ah, Kazuichi! Thank you!" She smiled and bowed before heading to a small table

The princess could feel something off about the boy, he had never acted like this before..it was worrisome that he suddenly changed
"Tanaka?" She said placing down the light pink beed in her hand ( she's making a bracelet, I'll explain it during the end if you're interested it's a headcanon I have) "What seems to be the issue? And don't think of lying to me!" She exclaimed "I don't believe anything is disturbing me..well I suppose ever since I saw.." he scooted his eyes over to the boy who was making their drinks, he was whistling a song so his attention wasn't on them thankfully "mmh.." she nodded slowly "I think it has to do with him. I'm not sure though, for I have never felt like this towards anyone before...May I ask if you're aware on what is happening to me?" He looked at the girls and she looked joyful "why-" the princess took no time in letting the breeder finish his words "Tanaka you're in love!" "I don't understand..isn't this what you mortals form when you have a strong bond with someone? Or am I incorrect about that..?" He suddenly felt his heartbeat become faster, more then it was before surprisingly. "Well yes, like how Akane and Nekumaru feel about one another, or...Fuyuhiko and Peko! Mahiru and Hiyoko can also be used as an example!" She giggled softly as the thoughts of all the happy couples came into mind. "Tanaka if that's how you feel take your shot on getting to know him! Heck he might even be interested in you!" She smiled brightly before getting back to work.
'Get to know him?'
He thought about that for the time being, even when Soina went to retrieve their drinks it still crossed his mind, the more and more thought put into it the more he grew embarrassed

"Oh Tanaka...have you seriously missed something so obvious...look on your cup." The princess shook her head and smiled as she continued to drink her coffee

What ever did she mean by that??

'Hi I wanted to say that I think you're really cute and was wondering if you'd be interested on hanging out with me? It doesn't have to be a date or anything like that, really whatever you're comfy with. I'm running out of room on the cup but my shift ends at 4 ヽ('▽｀)/'

"Tanaka, you seem flustered, may I ask what it says? As I did know it had words written on it I couldn't read them." She was fibbing, just for the fun of it of corse. It was rare to see Gundam flustered, and he had only met this boy not even 10 minutes ago...how can someone do such things in such little time?
"Soina..May I ask what time it is currently?" He slowly turned the cup so the writing could face him..
It was messy. Most of the letters were slanted and he had crossed out a few words he spelt wrong like 'wondering' and 'shift'. It made him giggle-
No
'I am the overlord of ice. I cannot be amused by such childish things!' He shook his head and looked back at the princess

She had told him it was 3:55,

5 minutes. Just have to wait..
"Tanaka I've never seen you at such a state!" Soina shook her head softly "his shift ends in 5 minutes...would you mind if we waited until said time?"

"Of course!"

Also that headcanon with Soina is that she makes friendship bracelets for her friends. Cause like YES. Anyhoo happy late Easter!! Also! You guys fucking EXPLODED my notifications- and it makes me so nervous yet so happy that you guys enjoy my writing, I'll stop taking now haha
