"They just got engaged" Chelsea sobbed against the glass. "And a beautiful woman offered me cocaine yesterday"
I leaned against the bar counter "Did you accept them?"
She pushed the glass in my direction and I poured Añejo rum into it. "Drugs are expensive, you could have sold it" I replied, resting my arms over the table.
Chelsea laughed but shortly stopped and more tears started making their way down her face "He freaking cheated on me with my mother"
I moved my hand to stroke hers "I'm sorry but I told you last time. I don't care" I grinned and pulled away. "At least you're honest" She replied.
"You have no idea"
She took another shot "What happened to that hot guy who asked you out?"
I tapered my brows and crossed my arms "Well, but don't you look at the time. Don't you have work tomorrow?" I changed the topic immediately.
"Ou, bad in bed?" she insisted. How does she remember that? She was drunk.
"No, not at all," I whispered, only I listening. I blinked away "Do you want a cab? I can order one for you"
She dropped her arms over the table and her head on top of the "Yes, please"
It took approximately about thirty minutes for a taxi to come to pick up the drunk woman in front of me.
"Hey, " Alexis spoke from behind. I turned around to face him "mind if we talk?"
"Sure" I nodded. It was early in the afternoon, meaning it wasn't that packed. "What's up?"
"I wanted to apologize" He started. "I was an ass, I shouldn't have asked you out. But overall, I shouldn't have behaved like that after you rejected me" Alexis finished, the last part had a bitter tone, as if he didn't mean it.
"No problem" I answered taking a step back as he attempts to lean forward. "But if you ever you know..."
"I'm seeing someone" I abruptly informed him before he could finish his sentence. It wasn't a lie.
He backed up and lowered his gaze, not the floor. I was starting to get uncomfortable. "I'll be right back, I need to use the restroom" I walked away. More like running away.
