nini was sitting on her bed, she'd just started reading the selection. she was very captivated.

america had just agreed to do the selection, as per aspen's wishes.

she continued reading until her phone buzzed making her thoughts leave.

she set down the book and smiled once she saw her boyfriend's face appear on the screen.

"helloooo"

"hi" she heard him speak in a baby voice making her heart skip a beat.

"what's up"

"oh, nothing"

"i have a feeling that's a complete lie"

"it most definitely is"

"so what are you actually doing?"

"open your front door, maybe you'll find out"

she felt her cheeks get warm.

she walked down the stairs and opened it to be faced with her curly haired boy.

"icky!" she jumped into his arms and hugged him.

"im taking you out on a date" he smiled.

"but it's saturday night-"

"you're point is?" he said doing a motion with his hand which made her chuckle.

"fine, let me just go get dressed" she said as she looked down at her worn out black sweats and ricky's gray hoodie.

"nah, you won't need to" he said taking her hand.

"are you insane- don't answer that, i already know the answer" she said shaking her head.

"come onnn, i'm literally wearing the same thing" he said pointing to himself.

"but you're ricky, that's how you normally dress".

"nini" he groaned.

"fiiiiine" she slid on her shoes.

just as she was about to close the door she remembered she left her phone up stairs.

"wait, ricky i left me phone upstairs. what if my moms call?"

"they have my number, and i already told them we'd be out" he said walking her to the car.

she nodded. "sooo where are we headed to?"

he started driving. "first, we're going to go get mcdonald's, anddd the rest is a surprise!" he said with a smile.

"i hate surprises" she groaned.

"exactly why i did this, nina" he winked.

"you're annoying"

"yet you still choose to love me. your annoying little man-child" he spoke tapping his fingers on the wheel along to whatever was playing on the radio.

"you don't choose who you love you idiot" she rolled her eyes.

"what ever you say"

they got the mcdonald's and they pulled up into a drive-in theater.

"no way! omg. you're THE best ahhh" she hugged him right. and he smiled into the hug.

"i love you" he whispered.

"me too" she said kissing his cheek. which made him go as red as bob the tomato.

the movie that was playing was moxie.

very women empowering movie.

which he knew nini would adore, and she was very in to it.

"will you be the seth to my vivian?" nini asked facing him.

"always and forever" he said right before pecking her lips.

she giggled.

"im gonna go get a drink since someone drank all of my dr.pepper" he said glaring at nini. she shrugged acting innocent.

he rolled his eyes and left smiling.

ricky's been taking longer than expected.

nini started looking around, she spotted him with a model like girl.

she looked like raquel. from barbie.

she was F L i R T I N G with ricky. *loud scoff*

who does she think she is.

nini trusted ricky, a lot. and he knew that.

right about now she was really hoping he wouldn't take advantage of that.

and then,

she saw her lean in.

ricky's back was facing her though.

she ran, and she ran fast. she had no clue where to but she did.

tears slipped from her eyes as she ran from the drive-in.

how could he?

but what she didn't see, was ricky putting his hand in front of his mouth before 'raquel' had time to do anything.
