"good morning nina" ricky said barging into her room on a (seemingly) normal sunday afternoon.
"shut up!" she said sinking into her bed again, she loved her naps.
"that's no way to talk to the one you love now is it?" he said plopping onto her bed.
"shhhh im trying to sleep" she said putting her hair behind her ears, falling into the bed again.
"but i have something important to tell you" he said in a serious tone.
she sat up.
"what's wrong icky?" she grabbed his hands seeing his nervous face.
"um, so i got my acceptance letter" he said with a smile.
"that's awesome! what school was it?" she said looking in his eyes with a bright smile.
"it's- columbia" he mumbled looking down.
"what was that?" she rubbed her thumb on his hand.
"nini, you know i love you more than anything, right?"
"yes of course, so do i" she said kissing his cheek.
he let out a shaky breath, "i got into columbia" he said finally.
"oh?" was the only word that came out.
