5am

Severus' eyes flickered open and noticed his arm around your waist, his eyes widened and he cleared his throat, immediately taking his arm off you., he noticed your head nuzzled into the crook of his neck and felt your hands resting against his chest.

He hesitantly put his arm back around your waist and pulled you closer., you shifted around a little and started mumbling random words., he chuckled softly, loving how adorable you are and instinctively kissed your forehead.

Merlin, Severus, you're an idiot, you're in too deep

He felt you starting to move around so he closed his eyes and did his bed to pretend he was asleep, he didn't want to face you at the moment, he's not good with this sort of stuff. Your eyes flickered open and noticed Severus' arm around your waist.

You lifted your head up and looked at Severus to see his eyes closed, you smiled softly and looked around to see if you could see a clock anywhere and spotted one above his fireplace., "5am. I should get back to my quarters".

You placed your hand on his and started to remove his arm carefully, as to not wake him up., you stood up, grabbed your wand from the bedside table and smoothed down your skirt, opening his door and leaving his quarters.

As soon as the door shut, Severus sighed, sat up and put his hands on his head., his head was telling him to do one thing but his heart was telling him to another, he's confused, he doesn't know who to listen to.

You walked into your quarters, chuckled your wand, cloak on your bed, put your shoes down and shut the door., you started undressing yourself for a well deserved shower. You bunched up your clothes and started walking into the bathroom.

You there your clothes into the hamper and opened a cabinet in the bathroom, grabbing out a towel and hung it on the towel rack, getting a glimpse of yourself in the mirror., your eyes widened, you walked closer to the mirror and placed your fingers on the hickeys Severus left.

Fucking. Bastard.

"Well this is bad, what the hell am I going to wear?"., you sighed, shook your head and stepped into the shower. About half an hour later you stepped out of the shower and wrapped the towel around yourself.

You walked out of the bathroom and walked over to your cabinet., you ran your fingers along the shirts and sighed., "merlin, what am I going to wear?"., you hand stopped at a thin red turtleneck., "this will have to do"., you pulled it out and opened a draw, grabbing out a black pair of high waisted jeans, some socks, a bra and a fresh pair of panties.

You dried yourself and started getting dressed, while singing softly, you're in a good mood, he finally showed you he had some feelings for you and you're happy because you feel the same way about him.

You were thinking about asking him if he would be interested in going to Three Broomsticks with you so you can get to know each other better. You pulled up your jeans, buttoned them up and looked at the clock above your fireplace.

"6am, I still have about an hour until breakfast,"., you grabbed your wand and cloak off your bed, walked over to the armchair and sat down. You lifted yourself up a bit, crossed your legs and settled yourself back down, pointing your wand at the fireplace.

"Incendio"., flames shot out of the end of your wand and the logs in the fireplace lit up., you draped your cloak over yourself and watched the fire. After a few minutes your eyes to closed and your breathing steadied as you started falling asleep.

A quick nap can't hurt anybody.

7:30am

You woke up to a loud knock on the door., the fire had died down, you sat up, rubbed your eyes., "come in"., you lifted yourself up, turned around and saw Talon., "good morning, Alex"., "good morning, n/n, I just wanted to see if you were okay".

You looked at him confused., "okay? what do you mean?"., "well it's 7:30"., your eyes widened., "wait, what?!"., your head whipped around to look at the clock and you saw it was just past 7:30., "I fell back asleep"., "so you're okay?"., "I'm okay"., he let out a sigh of relief and patted your shoulder., "come on, let's get you some breakfast".

Severus looked up and small smile appeared on his face and relief washed over him as he saw you appear in The Great Hall., he quickly wiped his smile away, looked down and picked up his spoon, suddenly fascinated with the porridge in his bowl.

Please don't sit next to me, Y/n, please don't si-, shit

You sent a sweet smile his way., "hi, Severus"., he nodded at you., "hello, Y/n"., you tapped your fingers on the table, nervous to ask him a question., "s-so I was thinking about going to Three Broomsticks this afternoon and I was wondering if you would like to go with me?".

Is she asking me out? Say no Severus. You should really say no.

Severus smiled softly and nodded., "I would love too"., you shot a sweet smile back at him and his heart melted at how adorable you were.

Shit, Severus you're obviously not able to say no to her

Talon looked at the both of you and smirked, it was obvious to him and basically everyone else that you liked Severus and it was also so obvious that Severus reciprocated your feelings, even though he didn't want to admit it.

When you didn't show up for breakfast this morning, it wasn't just him that was worried, Severus was too., every time he would look up and not see her, more worry would appear on his face.

8am

Everyone started to leave The Great Hall., you got up and shot Severus and sweet smile., "see you soon, Severus"., he returned your smile and nodded in response, his heart once again melted seeing your smile., you turned in Talon's direction, smiled and waved., "bye Alex, see you soon"., Talon smiled and waved back.

As you started to leave the hall Severus kept his eyes on you, gazing lovingly at you., Minerva nudged his arm, taking Severus out of his trance like state., he looked at Minerva to see her smirking., he rolled his eyes., "what is it, Minerva?".

"It seems like you have a bit of a crush, Severus"., he sighed in frustration and shook his head., "I don't like Y/n"., more trying to convince himself more then anyone else., "Severus, it's fine to have a crush on someo-".,

He cut her off with a frustrated sigh., "I have to prepare for my lesson, Minerva, I don't have time to listen to this utter nonsense"., he got up from from his seat and started making his way down to the dungeons.
