Meant To Be

This will be a short chapter

10pm

You started tossing and turning, you couldn't sleep., you jolted yourself up, put your head in your hands and groaned in annoyance., we will see you soon., the words of your mother stuck in your head and you were absolutely terrified to see them, you knew what's going to happen when you do so.

You got up, grabbed your cloak, wrapped it around yourself, opened your door and started heading to the courtyard for some fresh air. You arrived there and saw someone, considering you saw something long so you thought it was a student's cloak.

"Excuse me but you shouldn't be out past curfew"., the person recognised your voice and chuckled., "what are you going to do, put me in detention?"., you laughed, recognised the voice and walked over to him.,"Alex, what are you doing out here?".

"I just couldn't sleep, what about you?"., "me too"., you's both sat on the ground you continued speaking: "so did you tell Sabrina?"., he let out a sad sigh and nodded., "she ended the relationship"., you looked at him and rested your head on his shoulder., "I'm sorry"., "what are you sorry for?".

"I'm the one who encouraged you to tell her"., "no no it's not your fault...it's not anyone's fault, she doesn't love me back...it is what it is, I suppose".

Severus put his book down and got up from his bed., "I need some air"., he got up, grabbed his wand and started making his way out to the courtyard. He walked out opening of the courtyard and came to an abrupt stop when he saw you and Talon.

He scowled at the sight of the both of you together and started whispering: "what is she doing with him?"., he rested himself against the pillar, crossed his arms and watched closely to make sure nothing happens.

"Do you think she'll come around, Y/n?"., you sighed and brought up your knees up to your chest., "I'm not sure, I guess you will just have to wait and see"., he sighed and nodded., "the same goes for you and Severus"., "I don't know Alex, every time something happens between us, he barely talks to me"., "well I did tell you he's a knobhead".

You both laughed, he looked at you and bit the inside of his cheek., Talon is upset and heartbroken, he's not in his right mind., he grabbed the collar of your shirt, pulled you towards him and crashed his lips against yours., you were upset and not in your right mind either, you deepened the kiss and Talon put his hands on your waist.

Severus clenched his fists and huffed loudly, unfortunately you and Talon didn't hear him, much to Severus' dismay. He clenched his jaw and started storming off., you pulled away from the kiss and shook your head., "I should go"., he scratched the back of his neck and nodded., "I'll see you tomorrow".
