*Emma's POV*
I just came home from a 'date' with a suspect. After having the table flipped on me and wine being spilled all over me, I was ready to go home. You see, I'm a bail bonds woman and I had a date with someone who decided to skip bail. I busted his face into his steering wheel and called the cops on his ass. It was fun. I opened the door to my apartment and took off my heels. I walked over to my small kitchen and set the cupcake I had bought myself on the cabinet. Oh, did I mention it was my 28th birthday? Well it is. I lit the small candle on top of it and closed my eyes to make a wish. "I wish not to be alone on my birthday." I thought to myself and blew out the candle. The doorbell rang and I opened my eyes. I walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole. It was a... Kid? I opened the door and looked at him. "Are you Emma Swan?" He said and looked up at me. "Um, who are you and why are you here?" I said as he walked into my apartment. "Hello? Kid, what are you doing?" I asked as he walked into my kitchen and sat at the bar. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I'm your son." He said and looked at me. "I don't have a son." I said and looked at him. He nodded his head. "I'm 10 years old. You put me up for adoption. My name's Henry Mills and you're my birth mom." He said and looked at me. "Shit." I whispered to myself. He's 10 years old and saying I'm his birth mom. Oh gosh. I just looked at him for a minute and he smiled. "I'm taking you home." I said. "Fine. But you should stay with me." He said and looked at me. I laughed. "Right. Now where do you live?" I asked him. "Maine." He said and smiled. "Where in Maine?" I asked. "Storybrooke." He said. "Fine. Let's go. Your parents are probably worried sick." I said and grabbed my coat. He shook his head. "My mom's too busy to notice if I'm missing." He said. I sighed. That sounded like it sucked. "I'm sure she's noticed." I said. He shrugged. I put my heels back on and we walked down to my car. He got in the passenger seat and smiled as I got in. "Can we get snacks? I'm hungry." He asked. "Kid. Hold up. Do you just expect me to believe you're my son?" I asked him. He sighed. "I have proof." He said and handed me a birth certificate. "See? Birth mother: Emma Swan." He said. I sighed. I guess this is my son. "Do you believe me now?" He asked. "I guess your birth certificate is proof enough." I said with a sigh and pulled out of the parking place. He smiled. "Will you stay in Storybrooke?" He asked. I sighed. "Why should I?" I asked. "Your parents are there." He said. I looked at him. "My parents?" I asked. He nodded. "Snow White and Prince Charming." He said with a smile. I laughed. "Kid. Those are names from a story book." I said. He smirked. "Just wait. You'll believe." He said and looked away. We were silent almost the whole trip except for him giving me directions. We finally arrived in Storybrooke. "Where to?" I asked. "108 Mifflin Street." He said. I nodded and drove. When we pulled up to the house, I swear it was the biggest one on the block. Maybe the biggest in the whole town. "Okay. Before we get out. Let me tell you why I brought you here." He said. I looked at him. "I'm listening." I said. "My mom is the Evil Queen here. I know she's not evil anymore. Everyone else knows she's good now too. But you're her true love. Tinker Bell gave me a spell and it took me to you. You can make my mom happy again. She needs happiness. Please at least talk to her?" He said. "Really? Evil Queen and Tinker Bell?" I said and looked at him. This kid really believes those are their names. He nodded. I sighed. "I'll talk to your mom." I said. We got out of my car and began walking towards the front door. "Henry!" A woman shouted and ran out to us. She hugged Henry tightly and I just stood there awkwardly. She was beautiful. "Look mom! I found my birth mom! Emma Swan! She's your true love!" Henry said and looked at her. She looked at him. "You found my true love?" She said and he nodded. She looked up at me and smiled. "Hello. I'm Regina Mills. I'm Henry's adoptive mother." She said with a smile. "I'm Emma Swan and apparently your true love." I said with a laugh. This woman was absolutely gorgeous.
*Regina's POV*
This is her. Emma Swan. Daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. The 'savior'. My true love. Henry found her and she's right here. My happy ending. "Ms. Swan. Would you like to come in?" I asked and looked at the blonde. She smiled and nodded. We walked in and to the family room. "Would you like a drink?" I asked the blonde as she sat on the couch. "Water please." She said with a smile. I nodded and walked to the kitchen. Henry followed. "Mom how are you going to make her remember everything?" Henry asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe true loves kiss." I said. He smiled and nodded. "That would work." He said. I smiled and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. "Snow and Charming are going to be so excited." I said. He nodded. "I can't believe we found her." He said. "I can't believe you snuck out." I said and looked at the young boy who was now blushing. I smiled at him. "I am glad you found her though." I said. He nodded. "Me too." He said. I grabbed another bottle of water and carried the 2 bottles to the family room. I handed one to Emma and she smiled. Henry sat down beside me and I looked at him. "Hen, why don't you go on upstairs so I can talk to Ms. Swan." I said. He smiled and ran up to his room. I looked at the beautiful blonde and she took a sip from the water. "So, Ms. Swan. Are you planning on staying in Storybrooke long?" I asked. She smiled. "No. I'm actually just here to drop Henry off then I'm going home." She said. I frowned. "No. You should stay for a while." I said. She raised an eyebrow. "It's a beautiful town. I think you'd like it." I said. She sighed. "Okay." She said. I smiled and looked at the blonde. "Oh, Ms. Swan, you must be uncomfortable. Would you like to borrow some clothes?" I asked the blonde who was wearing a tight red dress, heels and a red leather jacket. "I don't want to be a bother." she said. I smiled. "No bother at all. Come on." I said and held out my hand for her. I was wearing a grey dress and blazer and heels, so I would change into pajamas while I was up there. She took my hand and I felt sparks fly. We both looked at our hands and smiled. "Did you feel that?" She asked. I chuckled and nodded. "Maybe we are 'true loves'." She said with a chuckle and put air quotes around the words. I smiled and we walked up to my bedroom. I opened the door and I lead Emma over to my closet. I pulled out a short, silk, nightgown and laid it on the bed. "I can just sleep in like, a pair of sweatpants or something." She said. I smiled and grabbed a pair of yoga pants and a long sleeve shirt. I handed them to her and she smiled lightly. "The bathroom is right there. I'll let you use mine." I said with a smile and nodded toward the door in my room. She nodded and walked toward the door. I quickly changed from my dress to my nightgown and fixed my shoulder length, dark brown hair. I put my clothes in the hamper and pulled on my silk robe, so I could go tuck Henry in. I walked out of my room and to his room. He was in bed already. I smiled at him and sat on the edge of his bed. "Is she staying?" He asked. I nodded and he smiled excitedly. "Mom. You have to kiss her." He said and sat up. "I know. But, she has to believe first. If she doesn't believe in the magic, true love's kiss will do absolutely nothing." I said. He sighed. "But you're the truest loves." He said. I nodded. "But she still has to believe." I said. He sighed. "Goodnight Henry. I'll see you tomorrow morning. I love you." I said and kissed his head. "Since tomorrow is Saturday, can we go to the park?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. "Will you invite Emma?" He asked. "Of course." I said with a smile. He smiled and laid down. "I love you mom." He said as I stood up and turned the light off. "I love you too." I said and pulled the door closed. I walked back to my room and saw Emma looking at the different pictures of Henry and I. I smiled. She was looking at a picture of Henry as a baby. "That was taken the day I adopted him." I said with a smile. She turned and looked at me. "Is he a good kid?" She asked. I nodded. "He's a wonderful kid." I said. She smiled. "I hope you don't think I'm trying to take him away from you." She said. I shook my head. "I know you're not." I said with a smile. She smiled at me. "So, do you want me to sleep on the couch or will I be sharing a room with you?" She said with a smirk. I smirked back. "You can sleep in my bed if you want." I said. She smiled and laid down in the bed. I smiled and walked towards the door. "Wait, I thought you'd be sleeping in the bed too." I heard her say. I turned and looked at her. "Please?" She said. I smiled. "I must warn you, I'm a cuddler." I said. She smiled and nodded. "Me too." She said. I took my robe off and laid it on the footboard of the bed. She began blushing. "You're beautiful." She said and looked me up and down. I smirked. "You are too dear." I said. She smiled and I climbed in the bed, then turned the light off. "Would you like to get breakfast with me tomorrow, so we can talk about Henry?" I asked. "Sure." She said. After almost 10 minutes of silence, I heard her say my name. "Regina?" She said quietly. "Yes?" I asked, just as quietly. "This is going to sound childish, but, will you hold me? I normally sleep with my baby blanket. I know. I'm an adult, but it helps me sleep. It's like the only thing I have from my childhood. But, it's in my car." She said. I smiled. "You brought it with you?" I asked. "Well, yeah. I only have a boxful of things that belong to me and I keep it in my car." She said. I smiled, then wrapped my arms around her. "You're warm." She said. I smiled. "Dear, you should try to sleep. It's getting late." I said. "Thank you Regina." She said. I smiled to myself. I fell asleep, but woke up to my alarm. I turned it off and looked at the sleeping blonde in my arms. I gently pulled away from her and she didn't even stir. I pulled my robe on and tied it, then walked to Henry's room. I opened the door and he was already awake and playing a game on his phone. I smiled at him. "Emma and I are going to get breakfast and I'll hopefully convince her. Then, we'll come back and take you to the park." I said. He smiled and nodded. I walked out and back to my room. I walked to my closet and pulled on a black dress, then put on a red sweater. I put on black heels and smiled. I brushed out my straight, dark brown hair and smiled at my appearance. I walked over to the blonde and gently shook her awake. "Ms. Swan." I said as she turned over and looked at me. She smiled. "Good morning." I said. "Morning." She said and sat up. She ran a hand through her blonde mess of hair. "Would you like to borrow some clothes for our breakfast date?" I asked. She shook her head. "I have some clothes in my car I can wear." She said. I smiled and nodded as she stood up and walked out of the room. She returned a few minutes later with clothes in her hand. "You can change in my bathroom again." I said with a warm smile. She smiled at me and walked to the bathroom. After about 10 minutes she came out wearing skinny jeans, tan riding boots, a white long sleeve shirt and her red leather jacket. I smiled at her and she smiled back. "What do you want me to do with the pajamas you let me borrow?" She asked. "Just lay them by the bed. If you want to stay longer, you can wear them again." I said. She nodded and laid the clothes by the bed. Her long, blonde, wavy hair was left down. I smiled. "I feel underdressed." She said and looked at me. I shook my head. "I always dress like this. Don't worry." I said. She nodded and we walked downstairs. She pulled out her phone and looked at it. "Ms. Swan, if you need to call your boyfriend, I'll understand." I said with a small smile. "Oh, I don't have a boyfriend. Or any friends." She said. I frowned. "You do now." I said. She smiled and we walked to my black Mercedes. We climbed in and I drove towards Granny's. She looks like Snow and Charming. I parked the car and got out. I held out my hand for and she smiled, then took my hand and we walked into Granny's. Everyone stopped and looked at her. We walked to the bar and sat down. I heard a cup fall and shatter and Emma and I looked to see who had dropped it. It was Snow. I looked at Emma. "I'll be right back." I said. Emma nodded and I stood up and walked over to Snow. "That's her. That's Emma." She said and pointed at the blonde. I smiled and walked her to the back of Granny's. "Yes. That's Emma Swan. Henry found her." I said. "Regina. That's my daughter. Your true love. Henry's birth mother." She said. I nodded. "I know. But, I haven't told her yet. I have to make her believe in magic before true love's kiss will work." I said. She sighed. "So, she doesn't remember anything?" Snow asked. I shook my head. A tear rolled down her cheek. "I can't believe she's here." She said. I nodded. "Me neither." I said and Snow pulled me in for a hug. I smiled and walked back to Emma, leaving Snow to go back to her breakfast. "Why don't we sit in a booth." I said. She nodded and we walked towards the farthest booth. She sat so she was facing the door and I had my back toward it. Ruby walked over. "Emma?" She said and looked at Emma. Emma gave a confused look. "Uh, I told her your name." I said to Emma. She nodded. "Uh. What can I get for you guys today?" Ruby asked. "Just a hot chocolate with cinnamon for me." I said. She nodded and wrote it down. "Um, can I get pancakes and a hot chocolate with cinnamon?" She asked and handed Ruby the menu. "Sure thing. Coming right up." Ruby said and walked away. She came back almost 10 minutes later with Emma's food and our drinks. She handed me my hot chocolate and I smiled, then she handed Emma the plate of pancakes and her hot chocolate. Ruby walked away and I took a sip of my drink. "So, Ms. Swan." I said and looked at her. She smiled and cut off a piece of her pancakes. "Ms. Swan, how much did Henry tell you?" I asked. She laughed and swallowed her food, then took a sip of her drink. "Well, he told me that you used to be the evil queen. He said that my parents are Snow White and Prince Charming and that Tinker Bell gave him a potion to find me, since I was your true love." She said. I nodded. "But, that's absurd." She said. I sighed. "Emma, do you believe in magic?" I asked her. She looked at me and furrowed her eyebrows together. "I'm sorry?" She asked. "Do you believe in magic?" I asked again.
