*Regina's POV**a month later*
I woke up in Emma's arms. I smiled and looked at the alarm clock. It was 10 am. "Shit! Emma! Wake up! We overslept!" I said and shot out of bed. I pulled on my silk nightgown and Emma sat up. "What are you doing?" She asked. "It's 10 o'clock!" I said. Emma smirked. "Oh. Guess we overslept." She said. I rolled my eyes. "Yes. We did." I said. She stood up and walked over to me. "Calm down Regina." She said. I sighed. "We have to go wake up Henry." I said. She nodded and we walked towards his room. Emma was wearing sweatpants and a tank top. We opened the door and Henry wasn't in his bed. I raised and eyebrow and we walked down the stairs. There was a note taped to the fridge. "Moms. You guys were still asleep, so I made my own breakfast and stuff. See you at 4. Love Henry." I read out loud. I breathed a sigh of relief, then heard my phone ringing. I ran up the stairs and grabbed my phone. "I'm quitting! I will not work with her!" I heard Zelena shout. "Woah woah woah. What are you talking about?" I asked. "I will not work with Snow! The town wants her to be the new mayor!" I heard her shout. "Yeah I know... I kinda told them I had too much going on." I said. "I'm quitting!" She shouted again. I chuckled. "Yeah. Well, she's changed. So, I wouldn't work with her either." I said. "Wait, is everything okay? Are you and Swan still engaged?" She asked. I chuckled again. "Yes. We're still engaged. Snow tried to talk us out of moving in together so, we're kind of mad. She wanted us to slow down. Hold off on the wedding." I said. "What?! Crazy bitch." Zelena said, causing me to laugh. "We're not holding off. Emma moved in about a month ago." I said. "Yay!" I heard her shout. I laughed. "Well, I gotta go. Breakfast with Emma. I'll talk to you later." I said. "Kay!" She said and hung up. I laughed and put my phone on the nightstand, then ran back downstairs to see Emma and Henry talking. I raised an eyebrow. "Henry. What are you doing here?" I asked. He smiled. "They sent us home early. It's snowing! A lot!" Henry said excitedly. I laughed at the boy and looked out the window. There was at least half a foot of snow on the ground. "Moms. When it stops snowing can we go sledding?" Henry asked. I smiled. "Of course kid." Emma said. He smiled. "So kid. You hungry? I could order a pizza?" Emma asked. "I'm good ma." He said. She nodded. "I doubt any delivery would come out today." Henry said. Emma nodded again. "Wanna watch movies or something?" Emma asked. He looked out the window. "Let's go sledding! It stopped!" He shouted. There was at least a foot now. "You guys can go. I'll stay in here." I said. They nodded. "I knew the big hill in the backyard was good for something." Henry said. I laughed. They both ran up the stairs to change. It was almost 11:30. I smiled as they came back downstairs. Emma was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie. Henry was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie as well. I smiled at them. Emma came and kissed me. "Be careful." I said. She nodded and they walked out of the house. I walked upstairs to change clothes. I pulled out jeans and one of Emma's hoodies that had 'Boston' printed on the front. I grabbed a bra and a thong, then pulled off my robe. I pulled off my short night gown, then pulled on the thong. I put on my bra and a long sleeve shirt, then pulled on my jeans. I pulled the hoodie on and walked over to the mirror. I brushed out my hair, then walked back downstairs. I sat down in the family room and turned the tv on. I opened the Netflix log and clicked on Friends. I started from the very first episode. After several hours, Henry and Emma came inside. Henry was pouting and his face was red. He flopped down on the couch across from me, then Emma came in. "I got cold. And Hen got upset because he was having fun." Emma said and sat down beside me. I raised an eyebrow and walked over to Henry. I felt his head. "Henry, you're burning up." I said. He frowned and looked up at me. "I don't feel good." He said. I smiled weakly. "Why don't you go upstairs, change into your pajamas and rest. I'll make you some soup and bring it up in a little while." I said. He stood up without an argument and walked upstairs. Emma had a sad look on her face. I walked over and sat down, then put my arm around her shoulders. "What's wrong?" I asked. She frowned. "Henry's sick and I couldn't even tell. I wouldn't have known what to do if I had been by myself. I don't even know how to take care of my son." Emma said. I frowned. "Emma. That's not true. I'm sure that Henry either didn't want to bother you with the fact that he didn't feel good, or he was having too much fun to notice. And you have taken very good care of our son. Don't talk like that." I said and kissed her head. She sighed. "Emma. You feel like you're running a fever too." I said. She shook her head. "I'm fine." She said. I raised an eyebrow. "No you're not. You're sick. Up to bed. Right now. I'll bring you some soup too, then I expect you to rest." I said. Emma sighed and stood up, then walked to the stairs. She walked up and I turned the tv off. I stood up and walked to the kitchen. I got out the stuff to make tomato soup and I began making them lunch. I made them each a grilled cheese to go with it, then grabbed the sprite from the fridge. I got out 2 trays, then put a bowl of soup, a glass of sprite and a sandwich on each tray. I grabbed one tray and carried it up the stairs. I carried it to Henry's room and he smiled. He sat up and took the tray from me. I felt his head again, then walked to the bathroom. I got out the Motrin and poured a pill into my hand. I made a glass of water, then carried it back to his room. I handed him the water and the pill. He frowned. "It'll help with your fever and it should help you feel better." I said. He sighed, then took the medicine. He drank the whole glass of water, then handed me the glass. I smiled. "Eat up, then get some rest." I said. He nodded and I walked to the door. "I love you Henry." I said. He nodded. "I love you too." He said. I walked out, then downstairs. I made another glass of water and put it on Emma's tray. I put the bottle of Motrin on her tray and carried it up the stairs. She was laying in the bed, covers pulled up over her and watching Friends on Netflix. I handed her the tray and she sat up. I grabbed the Motrin and poured 2 pills in my hand. I handed them to Emma and she smiled weakly. I kissed her forehead. "I'll be back in a bit." I said. She looked sad. "When you come back, will you cuddle with me?" She asked. I smiled and nodded, then walked out of our room. I walked downstairs and began cleaning up the kitchen. I checked the clock and it was almost 3 pm. I walked out of the kitchen and up to Henry's room. I walked in to see him, asleep. The tray was on his nightstand. He had eaten all of his food and fallen asleep watching Spider-Man. I smiled as I walked over. I felt his head and it was a little cooler. I picked up the tray and carried it downstairs. I put his plate, bowl, spoon, glass and tray in the dishwasher then walked back upstairs. I walked in my room. Emma was laying down. Her tray was on our nightstand as well. I smiled and grabbed the tray. "You want more sprite?" I asked. She shook her head. "Be right back." I said and carried the tray downstairs. I loaded all of her dishes in the dishwasher and closed it. I turned the dishwasher on and walked back upstairs. I went into my room and laid down beside Emma. She smiled and cuddled close to me. I kissed her forehead and wrapped my arms around her. It was 3:45. Emma fell asleep shortly after and I smiled. I watched Friends for several hours, then my phone started ringing. It was 8 pm. I quickly grabbed it and answered it. Emma didn't wake up. I breathed a sigh of relief. "Hello?" I asked quietly. "Hey, Regina. How are you?" The woman asked. I furrowed my brows. "I'm good Mother. How are you?" I asked. "I'm good. Hey, I'm in town for a visit and I was wondering if I could stop by." She said. I sighed. "Today isn't a good day. Henry and Emma are sick." I said. "Emma? Emma Swan? She's back? You found her? Why is she at your house?" She asked. Shit. Mom doesn't know. Which means she doesn't know about us. Shit. "Uh, yes we found her about a month ago. Um, I'm taking care of her because she's sick." I said. "Oh, well, can I stop by tomorrow?" She asked. "Sure mom. That's fine." I said. "Okay. I love you dear. See you tomorrow." She said and hung up. I sighed. I love my mother. I really do. But she wanted me to marry another King or someone with power after I had Leopold killed. I'm scared she won't approve. But, then she can go complain with Snow. I quickly dialed Zelena's number. "Hello?" She asked. "Quick. Moms in town. She's probably on her way to your house." I said. "What? Regina, mom doesn't come to visit." She said. "Zelena, you have to listen to me." I said. "Hold on." She said. "Mother? What are you doing here?" I heard her ask. I smirked. "Dammit Regina." She said. I chuckled. "Told you. Have fun." I said and hung up. I looked at Emma who was still asleep. I smiled and got up, then changed into yoga pants. I got back in bed and laid down beside Emma. I wrapped my arms around her and quickly fell asleep.
