*Emma's POV*
After Regina had been in the bathroom for a long time, I heard crying. I don't like it when Regina cries. I stood up and walked to the bathroom door. It was locked. "Regina?" I asked. No answer. "Regina. Please talk to me." I said again. All I heard was her crying. I tried the knob, even though I knew it was locked. I quickly grabbed two bobby pins, successfully picking the lock on the bathroom door. I heard it click and opened the bathroom door. My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach. There was blood and lots of it. I glanced at her arms and saw where it was coming from. Regina had made several deep cuts across her wrists. Tears rolled down my cheeks. The woman looked up at me and turned paler than a ghost. "E-Emma." She stuttered. "Emma... Stay away from me." She said again. I shook my head and walked towards her. She looked away. I quickly wrapped my hands around her wrists and she hissed in pain. "Emma let me die! Stop it!" She shouted. I closed my eyes and focused all my magic into it. "Emma no! Please! I want to die!" She screamed through a stressed voice. My heart was shattering as the woman I loved was attempting to kill herself. My hands began glowing white and the magic coursed through my hands, healing her cuts, leaving scars. She began crying again. "Emma. I wanted to die." She said sadly. "Why? Why would you want to leave me here? Why?" I asked. "I thought you were mad at me." She said quietly.
*Regina's POV*
Emma caught me, mid suicide attempt. This wasn't how it was supposed to go. I was supposed to die. "Regina. What is going on?" Emma said and looked at me. "You yelled at me because I felt bad. Snow hates me and she used to be my best friend and only friend. I felt like I lost everything in that moment Emma!" I said through a stressed voice as tears fell from my eyes again. Emma wiped them away. "I wasn't mad at you. Just because I yelled, doesn't mean I was mad at you. I was mad at my mother. You knew that." Emma said, with little to no sincerity in her voice. "You were taking it out on me, sounded like you were mad at me." I said back. She sighed. "What? Are you frustrated at me explaining how I feel?" I asked, calmer than intended. "Kind of." Emma said with an annoyed look. "Are you serious?" I asked, all evidence of sadness being removed. "Yeah. You had no reason to feel like I was mad at you." Emma said and crossed her arms. "Emma. You were yelling at me." I said, calmly again. "So, if I yelled at you now? You'd think I was mad at you?" Emma shouted. "You just yelled at me." I said. "Because I'm mad!" Emma screamed. I nodded. "Fine." I said. "You know maybe we should hold off getting married for a while." Emma spit. My eyes went wide as she felt her left hand with her right. She took off her engagement ring and my heart shattered. She handed it to me and a tear rolled down my cheek. "E-Emma. Are you thinking this through all the way?" I asked in a shaky voice. She frowned. "Yeah. Maybe I should move out too." She said. I shook my head. "Emma, don't leave me. Please." I said, barely audible. She sighed. "A-are we breaking up?" I asked. She shrugged. "Guess so." She said and walked out of the bathroom. I fell to the floor. It was midnight. Surely she wouldn't leave. "I'm going to stay with Belle tonight." Emma shouted. My heart dropped. I left the bathroom and grabbed my phone. I quickly punched in a number and held the phone up to my ear. "Hello?" The woman said. "We broke up." I said as my voice cracked. "W-what? No. Stop. You didn't." I heard my sister stumble. "Can you and mom come over?" I asked. "Of course. Belle texted me that she was coming to meet her. Just so you know, if she hits on my woman, I'm going to ruin that pretty little face." Zelena said. "Okay." I said and hung up. I dialed another number, to see what would happen and if it would help. "Hello, this is the National Suicide Help Line. Are you alright?" A nice voice asked. "Uh, no. My girlfriend just left me and we live together and the wedding was in a month and she dumped me. She is my life. I don't know what to do. I've attempted before. I'm done. I want to die." I said, feeling pathetic. "Honey, I know it may seem bad now, but it will get better. And who knows, maybe she'll come around and forget why she got upset." The voice said. "And you wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to find out when she comes back." The voice said again. I smiled weakly to myself. "Thank you." I said lightly. "You know, we just had another girl call in with your same problem. Except she was the one who left. Do you think that's your ex?" The woman asked. "I'll found out. Thank you." I said and hung up. I walked out of my room in my yoga pants and hoodie and quickly put on a pair of Free Runs. I ran down the stairs and out the door. I looked around. Emma's car was in front of the house. I looked down the street. I saw a figure stopped in the middle of the street. I walked towards it. I heard a crack of thunder and looked up at the sky as a torrential downpour started. I squinted to see through the rain, but the figure still stood there. I moved faster and quickly enveloped the blonde in my arms. "I was on the line too Emma." I said, loud, to be heard over the rain. "You what?" She asked and looked at me. "The hotline. I told them my problem, I was helped, then the woman said someone on the other line had the same problem except she was the one who left." I said. Emma's face softened. "I don't want to wait." Emma said. I shook my head. I fumbled through my pocket for the engagement ring. Emma and I were both soaked through our clothes. I found the ring and held it out. Emma held out her hand and I slid it on her finger. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. We didn't care about the pouring rain or how cold it was. "I love you." I said breathlessly. "I love you too." Emma said and kissed my nose. Let's go home and dry off." I said. Emma nodded. We walked home holding hands and smiling. We walked in the house and Zelena was standing there with a smirk. "I see you two made up." She said. We nodded and Emma kissed me sweetly. "Thanks Z. Why don't you guys stay here tonight since its raining so bad?" Emma asked. Zelena nodded and threw us some towels. We took them, gratefully. I was just glad to have my Emma back. We walked up the stairs, changed into dry pajamas and walked back downstairs to hang out with Zelena and mom. They were watching Friends in the family room, so we joined them. "So, let's talk." Mother said and turned the tv off. Emma nodded and she leaned against my chest. I put my arm around her shoulders, then looked at mother. "So, what happened?" Mother asked. I sighed. "Well, Snow White called and was a really big bitch. So, that kinda started all of this. I got mad and took it out on Regina, which was the wrong thing to do. And Regina thought I was mad at her, but I wasn't. And Regina tried to kill herself. And I got scared and couldn't think straight, so I called it off. And left." Emma said. I closed my eyes, not wanting to think about the situation. "Wait. Regina?" Mother asked. I opened my eyes and looked at her sadly. "Not again dear." Mother said. I sighed, thinking of the times I had done it in my teenage years. I nodded. "Regina." Mother said and came to hug me. I just sat there as her arms wrapped around me. "Wait, you'd done that before?" Emma asked and looked at me. I nodded and felt tears build up. "Excuse me." I said and pulled away from mother. I quickly walked upstairs and to my room. I closed the door and lost it. The tears were heavy. After a few minutes, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I turned in them, knowing they belonged to my blonde fiancé. "Emma, this is all just too much." I said, into the crook of her neck. "I know sweety. How about we go to bed. It's late. Okay?" She said. I nodded gently and got in bed. Emma laid beside me and kissed me lightly. "I love you." Emma said. I nodded. "I love you too." I said. She grabbed my wrists and kissed both of them. The scars would probably never go away and that scares me. But, I'll have to get over it. "Emma... Don't ever leave me again. Please." I said. She nodded. "I won't. I promise." She said. I moved as close as I could to her and she wrapped her arms around me protectively. Our legs tangled together and then exhaustion took over both of our bodies as we drifted asleep. I awoke the next morning, only being able to think of one thing. The wedding. I couldn't get it out of my mind. Emma looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "Let's get married." I said. She chuckled. "We're going to." She said. I shook my head. "No. Like, let's plan the wedding. I want to marry you." I said. She smiled and nodded. "Let's get to planning." She said and grabbed her computer. I smiled as she pulled up different websites. "I'm not wearing a dress. So, you should." She said. I stifled a sigh. "But I proposed to you." I said. She giggled. "So?" She asked. I laughed. "Okay. I'll wear a dress." I said. "I'm gonna go dress shopping because I really wanna marry you." I said. She laughed as I changed into jeans, a long sleeve shirt and Uggs. I kissed her forehead and walked out of the room, putting my phone in my back pocket. Zelena stopped me at the front door. "Where are you going at 10 o'clock in the morning?" She asked. I smiled. "Dress shopping." I said, then mother appeared. "Not without us." She said and they both walked out of the door. I laughed at the two of them as they got in my car. I got in the driver's seat and drove toward the dress store. As we got there, my nerves started building. But, I was not backing out. I love this woman much more than to back out. Zelena and mom walked in front of me and into the store. "Hello miladies. Your majesty." The man said and bowed to me. I frowned. "Thank you." I said. He smiled at me. "Ball gowns?" He asked. I shook my head. "Wedding gowns." I said. His eyes blew wide and he smiled. "Congratulations." He said. I nodded and he walked us to a room of dresses. All I saw was white. Then. After 5 hours of looking, I found it. I pointed at it and smiled. "This is it." I said. The owner of the store smiled and pulled it out. After putting it on, I knew. This is the dress. It even fit perfectly. I walked out and smiled at mother and Zelena. Mother had tears in her eyes. Zelena had a bright smile. "This is the dress." I said as tears of joy rolled from my eyes. "You look beautiful." Mother said. I hugged her. "So, would you like to take it home with you today?" The owner asked. I nodded. After taking the dress off, it was sealed in a garment bag. I smiled and grabbed the bag as I walked out of the dressing room. My outfit was comfortable, but being in the dress, I feel amazing. "How much." I said. The owner smiled. "Nothing for you my queen." He said. I sighed. "Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded. "Just sign." He said. I nodded and signed a receipt. "Thank you." I said. The three of us walked out. I put the dress in the trunk and drove towards the house. We didn't talk at all. We got home and I got the dress from the trunk, then walked to the house. "Emma? Where are you?" I shouted as I entered the house. A hand wrapped around my waist and the other covered my mouth. I screamed against the hand. When I was turned around, I realized it was Emma. I smiled. "You scared me." I said. She smiled. "Sorry." She said. I shook my head. "So, I have the whole wedding planned. Everything we talked about." She said with a smile. "Really?" I asked. She nodded and smiled. "So, when do we want to have it?" I asked. "Don't you want to go over my plans?" She asked. I shook my head. "As long as I'm marrying you, I'm good." I said. She smiled again. "When do you want to have it?" She asked. "As soon as possible." I said with a smile. She nodded. "A month. December 20th." Emma said. I nodded. "I'm in." I said and kissed her gently. She smiled as I pulled away.
