She got so used to it back there, she didn't want to come back here. All the alcohol and hatred. She could quite literally smell the hatred. The familiar stomping footsteps she had almost forgotten, grew closer to her.
"Oi."
"..." Horrified eyes, looking up slowly in fear as the figure of the man stood in front.
"Didn't you hear me? I SAID, GET ME MORE BEER!" He swung his empty bottle at her head.
"N-No!"
*Slam*
"AH!" She woke up.
It was all a dream!
"Maki!" Tenzo was quickly by her side.
"Are you alright? Anything feel wrong? Whats wrong!?" She stared.
And Stared.
And stared...
Until she noticed she was staring.
She latched onto his waist, hugging him so tight he felt his soul leave his body.
"Y-You're here! You're still here!"
"O-Of course I am. Where would I... Be?" He breathed out.
"No where..." Her voice cracked.
"Nowhere at all."

"So again, why did you have a panic attack?" Maki squints her eyes, walking beside him and whistling in hopes of changing the topic.
"Yeah, Maki. Did it have to do with your question from before?" Her shoulders stiffen and her whistling gets louder.
"What question?"
"Don't play dumb." Tenzo and Kakashi sighed.
Just as they spoke, a hawk appeared and swirled over them.
"I have a mission. I'll see you guys." They waved at him as he flickered away. Kakashi turned to the kid, a smile on his face.
"Alright. It's time for the academy, kiddo." She purses her lips.
'Right around now should be the time where Kakashi-senpai retires'
