"It's already 6 months past already since Masachika-San was dead. And Shinobu-Chan seems to get along with Tomioka-San, maybe I should ask Kagaya-Sama to give the mission for Shinobu to go with Tomioka-San."

The sadly sound was telling the story during the past 6 months. It's not anyone sound, it's Kanae sound. She was talking with her self while looking up to the sky.

"Father, mother, Masachika-San how are you now, are you still being happy above there?"

Shinobu just looked at her sister saying with herself in sadness voice.

'Sometimes I want you to forget the past, I want you to be joyful like you always give to the children in this mansion.'

Shinobu thought to herself before walking away to prepare a sword for her and Kanae, it's almost time that they two will go out to do mission.

"Shinobu-Chan it's almost time now, you will go do mission with me today."

Kanae called Shinobu. Shinobu responded her shortly.

"Hai!"

'Finally the day that I don't have to go with that boring guy.'

Shinobu thought to herself before bringing the sword to her sister.

"So Ne-San we will go out now?"

Shinobu asked because it's have about 30 minutes left before it's will getting dark.

"Yes we will go now. The place that we will go didn't near this place, so I think it's will take 20-30 minutes long to go there."

End of Kanae word, Shinobu and Kanae go out of the mansion to the mission's place.

When they arrived at the mission's place, it was already night just as Kanae expected. The demon that stay there didn't very strong, just Shinobu is enough for her to fighting alone.

Even along the way they will saw only a low rank demons but Kanae didn't think it was just this low rank.

'If it just low rank demon, it's probably not make many people died. If just villagers still understand but including members of demon slayer Corp is weird.'

Kanae thought to herself, then she decided to tell Shinobu something.

"Shinobu-Chan I will go deep inside to find something, I will let you handle these demons by yourself."

Without waiting for Shinobu answered, Kanae already gone out of Shinobu's sight.

"If it's just this low rank demon why Ne-San have to bring me with her, she can get rid of it just by herself and more quickly"

Shinobu mumbled to her self while get rid of the low rank demons, just like what Kanae told her to do.

"Finally I found the origin of this unusual thing. So it was you who kill all the people that was send to this place."

Kanae told while holding her sword prepare to fight the demon in-front of her.

"You are misunderstanding miss, I didn't kill all of those humans, I just kill all the female."

The demon stated, it held the hand fan prepare to have a fight.

"And please don't call me like the others low rank demons. My name is Doma, the upper rank 2 of the twelve kizuki."

Doma stated clearly of his rank, he doesn't want anyone to misunderstanding him as a low rank demon.

'An upper rank, it gonna be hard for fighting alone.'

Kanae thought but she didn't scare. When Doma finish his sentences, Kanae immediately approached to Doma to make some wound at him. Unfortunately she can just make some scratch to Doma.

"I not that weak, the normal attack won't make much damage for me. Do you know that you are very beautiful, so let me eat you."

Doma said with a smiled on his face, he looked closely at Kanae's face. Kanae jumped back, and prepare to attack again.

They fighting each other for a long period of time but  Kanae still didn't make much damage to Doma, and more importantly seems like Doma strength not less than before. Kanae strength start to lower and lower every time she moves her body.

This time she decided to dodged Doma's attack, and asked her crow to send a message to other hashira nearby to come help her, or at least bring her sister to go far away.

With the injured that Kanae had, she estimated that she can fight more just for 30 minutes before she will ran out of energy. With that thought in mind she start to fight Doma again.

"Flower breathing fourth form : Crimson hanagoromo"

Kanae used her breathing style slashed at Doma, because of some careless of Doma, Kanae can made some damage to him.

It's already past 30 minutes since Kanae told her crow to find some hashira to come help her. Kanae was already exhausted so much from fighting with Doma, but when Doma will eat her, Shinobu was interrupted Doma.

After Shinobu defeated all the low rank demons, she immediately come to help Kanae, and saw her almost died.

"What did you do with my sister!"

Shinobu shouted prepared to fight Doma, but Sanemi was stopping Shinobu first before she do it.

"S—sanemi-San?"

Kanae asked with a low sound because she already bleeding too much.

"Ne-San!"

Shinobu shouted before running to hug Kanae.

"If you will fight then fight me."

Sanemi shouted while pointed his sword to Doma direction.

"You know I don't interest in males."

Doma said with a bored expression.

"It sad that I can't eat the woman properly, and it almost dawn now."

When Doma finished his sentence he quickly ran away from them, to find hiding place.

When Doma gone, Sanemi kept his sword and ran to see Kanae.

"Oi! Don't died I'm already here Kanae!"

Sanemi shouted to call Kanae, and keep her still awake, but seems like Kanae already unconscious in Shinobu's embraced.

Sanemi tried to check Kanae's pulse and seems like she still alive. He tell Shinobu to do some initial treatment first. Then, he carried Kanae back to the mansion to have some proper treatment.
