Since Sanemi got dragged back into the mansion by Kanae, he didn't say anything. He stayed quite all along, which is weird for him to not yell out anything.

"How long are you going to stay this quite? Are you feeling bad about a what you just did now?"

Kanae asked as she gently put a cup of tea in-front of Sanemi. Still, Sanemi just sit there quietly, didn't utter out any words.

"Come on Sanemi-San, do you want me to be the only one talking?"

She asked tiredly at the male that seems to not want to reply anything. At that moment, Kanae seems to be able to think of something.

"I will be back!"

With that she ran off the room.

Around 30 minutes had pass when Kanae came back with a plate of Ohagi.

"Sanemi-San, I bring your favorite food!"

She looked at the white hair male that now moved himself to sit at the porch. She smiled slightly before walked up to him. As she placed down the plate of Ohagi, Sanemi unexpectedly said something.

"Kanae, do you hate or disappointed in me now?"

His voice contained some of the sadness.

"Are you worrying that all along?"

Kanae looked at Sanemi before continue her sentence.

"I don't know how badly it go on with you two, but doing like that isn't right. Genya-kun already tried his best to come back to get along with you. You should give him a chance."

Kanae stated as she slowly sit down beside Sanemi.

"Are you that close to Genya?"

He asked looking at Kanae that giving him a piece of Ohagi to eat.

"Well, not really. At least I maybe closer with him more than you and him now."

"Then can you tell him to quit?"

Seems like Sanemi set a high hope on Kanae that Genya will listen to her and left the corps peacefully.

"I can't. That's the thing that Genya-kun need to decide by himself. We can't just tell or force him to quit."

Kanae replied, but Sanemi seems to have an opinion that opposite from her.

"Why you not calm down for now? You seems to still mad about the things that occurred today."

She gently pull Sanemi's head to rest on her lap, but this made Sanemi so much blushing and push her away from him.

"W—what a—are you doing!?"

Meanwhile Kanae just looked at Sanemi that now his face red like a tomato, with a confused look.

"Well, maybe you want some rest."

She beckoned Sanemi to come to her as she saw that he sprinted back so far away from her.

"Don't worry, Shinobu-chan won't kill you (at least if she not see)."

Sanemi hesitated a bit before decided to walk back to Kanae. He just simply sat down beside her, but his head being pulled by Kanae to sleep on her lap.

"This always help calm Shinobu down. I hope it will help you too."

Kanae said softly as she gently stroking Sanemi's hair. The Wind Hashira didn't really complain anything, it kinda remind him of his own mother...

"A-re?"

Now that the male was peacefully sleeping, it just made the Flower Hashira smiled lightly at the sight in-front of her. At the same moment she also wondered.

"Ah, what will I do with these Ohagi that were left now?"

As she was thinking, she finally came down with the best solution.

"Since Sanemi-San already sleep, I will eat all of it by myself then!"

With that came in mind, Kanae picked up Ohagi and ate them piece by piece until the plate is empty.

'I wish everyone could see this cute side of Sanemi-San, but that's such an impossible thing.'

Kanae thought as she looked up at the sunset, it will be a night time, and today will end soon.
