Chapter 4

Doggy's POV
I started feeling tired, I'd argue dizzy after that incident.
"God, what was in that drink?" I needed to throw up.
However, I was too weak to stand up. I had to crawl.
I vomited in some nearby bushes.

I heard footsteps.
I looked over to Y/N. She was asleep.
"Y/N!! Y/N, wake up! I think someone broke in!" I tried to shake her, but I couldn't.
I barely reached my axe, but I couldn't hold it.
I passed out.

Y/N's POV
"Doggy, were you saying something?" I looked around to see he wasn't there anymore.
I stood up, and tried to see where he was.
"Doggy? Doggy, where are you?" I started to walk around.
I finally found him, but he wasn't the same.

"Doggy!" I ran up to him, and tried to give him a hug.
He swung his axe at me, and I barely dodged.
"What happened to you?" I asked, heartbroken and confused.

His eyes were red instead of black, and his pupils were glowing yellow.
I realized what was going on.

I got up, and ran away from him as fast as possible.
My Doggy was gone.

I started unlocking the puzzle to get out. This place wasn't safe anymore.
I came a across a sheep while trying to escape, but then noticed the fence was broken.
She must have broken in from there.
I left the campsite, but before I did...

Doggy's POV
"I'll come back for you! I promise I still love you, Doggy!" Y/N shouted before escaping.
"I-I love you too, my darling," I thought wishing I could talk to her.
I couldn't control any part of my body. It was agonizing.
I could barely catch a glimpse of my Y/N leaving.

Y/N's POV
I cried while walking around, trying to avoid any infected.
I had no place to stay, my Doggy was gone, and I didn't even know if any of my friends were alive.
Poley, Erika and Doggy all out of my life.
I paused, and looked down at my uniform. I still had one thing left.

Only one thing.

I could go back to the city, and try to find Georgie Piggy.
I knew it would be dangerous, but it was that or nothing.

I went through a different route this time, one with much less infected than before.
It took hours of Zig-Zaging  around the infected and I got lost a few times on the way, but I eventually found my way to the city.
Georgie's grandma had a store in here, so maybe he came here to find her.

"There's two infected in here, great" I thought, running away again.
I found a gun in an opened safe, "Perfe—it's not loaded.. shit."
I kept running away until I got some distance. I chose to run into a nearby mall, hoping there wouldn't be any infected in there.
The sun was rising, and I was almost certain I didn't get a full 8 hours of sleep.
Even if I did, I spent hours without rest.

I entered the mall, and sat down in the floor. The place seemed empty.
I noticed some bullets, and loaded my gun just in case.
Good thing I did that, because just a few seconds later a security robot with a chainsaw came rushing towards me almost slicing me in half.
I shot it, and that seemed to break it.

I didn't want to take any chances though.
I got up, and examined the robot.
I noticed the controls panel, and turned it off.
Problem solved.

"Wait, if I came here from the city.. maybe Georgie's here?"
"Georgie Piggy? Are you here? Is anyone here!?" I shouted.

I heard a few sounds coming from a locked and barricaded door.
It then opened slowly.
"I'm Georgie Piggy," a small piglet came out, "Who are you?"
"My name is Y/N," I walked up to him, "I'm a police officer that had been sent to come look for you."
"The police are still working? I thought we were in an apocalypse.."
"No, and yes. I came to look for you, because I.. well, my friend's gone and I have nowhere to stay so.."
"You can stay with me!"
"Really?"
"Yeah, we're both alone, and have nothing else."
"Pretty much."
He looked over my shoulder, "Did you break the security robot?"
"I just turned it off... Okay fine I shot it because it tried to kill me."
"It was the only think keeping the infected away from here."

I turned on the robot, and went in Georgie's room with him.
Luckily, I didn't break it.
