Aurora Park laid on the floor, body slumped against her gaming chair beneath the desk. Heart thumping against her ribcage, the poor girl spared a glance to her headset, which had managed to slip off of her head the very moment she fell to the carpeted ground of her dainty apartment. If her friends were saying anything, she sure as hell couldn't hear it.

Corpse's shoulders shook with unsuppressed laughter, forehead resting on his desk, eyes closed. The last thing he had heard from Rory was a banshee-like screech and a rather loud thud, followed by a distant crash.

          This girl...

He sat back up, right hand lifting his eyepatch to wipe the tears that threatened to escape the confines of his tear ducts. "I'm actually sobbing." He told his viewers, small giggles still escaping from his chapped lips.

Meanwhile, wide-eyed and ratty-haired, Rory slowly climbed back onto her chair, fingers squeezing the arms so hard that her nail beds turned a sickly shade of white.

The brunette retrieved her abandoned headset, brown orbs not once leaving the screen. The house in-game was identical to how she left it, minus the Ghost.

"I'm still alive?" She questioned, chest deflating at the dreadful realization. "Why the hell didn't fuckface kill me?"

Pulling the headset back over her ears, she guided her avatar back up the flight of stairs in a silent, seemingly calm walk.

"I'd rather be dead." She grumbled under her breath, teeth gritted.

Upon stepping out onto the front porch, the volume of the voices of her three friends gradually elevated.

"So... Assuming Rory's dead, I say Corpse goes next for two reasons." Rae announced cheekily with a gnarly grin.

"Wait what?" Said man protested. "Why?"

Rae took a deep breath, dramatizing the scene. "One: because you betrayed us for your other friends... And two: you're a simp."

          "I'm a WHAT?!?!?!"

"She's got a point." Sykkuno hummed in thought.

Corpse gaped at his monitor. "How on EARTH am I a SIMP?!"

          Silence.

"Is..." Rae trailed off, brows knitted in complete and utter disbelief. "Is he serious?"

"I..." Sykkuno mirrored her speech. "I think so."

Rory's avatar peered into the back of the truck, met by the three of them. Rae and Sykkuno were standing side-by-side with their backs to Rory as they stared Corpse down. The faceless streamer was the first to notice her.

          "Rory!"

Rae nodded eagerly. "Exactly! She's the one we're talking about--"

Rory stepped in front of the two, shutting her friend up.

          "Oh."

"I'm not dead yet, bitches." Rory voiced the obvious, a triumphant smirk gracing her lips.
