Aurora Park slouched back into her seat after giving into the intimidating nature of the submit button. At last, her final assignment had been submitted! Exam season was right around the corner, and then the girl would be escaping the dark depths of college. Graduating was a scary concept for Rory. She had longed to fulfill her education, but now that she was nearly there, she couldn't find it within herself to calm the growing storm within her heart.

It was frightening to imagine life outside of school. It was almost... safe. It wasn't like much would change, however. She wasn't going to quit her occupation as a streamer, but she knew that this degree would help her in bigger projects down the road. She had only changed her major once—from premed to game design—and never once regretted it.

It was in the early hours of the day, nearing 9 o'clock on the dot. Rory had pulled yet another all-nighter. Was it really surprising at this point?

She closed the textbook that was resting before her with a relieved sigh. Looking down ever so slightly, her black backpack came into view.

It was filled to the brim. Pajamas, makeup wipes, chargers—you name it! She had spent the better part of her night going through a packing list just to make sure she didn't forget anything.
