So let me get this straight again, i lost track of Lila and sir Feriss, I am in a completely unknown place (to me) and the people here aren't giving of a friendly vibe at all

and I'm not being paranoid but I've been bumped onto someone several times and I doubt it's unintentional wanna know why because it's the same guy, it's been him every freaking time

Lila, sir Feriss please come find me!

for now I've decided to completely ignore the guy following me and to focus on my own things, he hasn't shown any sign of aggression for now  and i have to enjoy the festival too

just then i bumped onto someone

"ah! pardon me i wasn't paying attention!" i looked up to the unknown figure looking down at me

"its fine but you shouldn't approach there's is a scene going on around there" he said pointing towards the huge crowd that was gathered probably witnessing

"is something wrong? what's going on?"

"some noble guy is harassing a girl who insulted him, i told her not to meddle in others business but she just had to act up and be the hero" he scratched the back of his head when he stated those words

hurriedly i ran towards the crowd pushing the people around. i froze at the scene in-front of my eyes

"Insolent brat! you dare steal money from me!" said the older male, 

"i promise i didn't! i only pumped you and the wallet fell that's all i swear!" said the little girl who was in pain because of the strong grip that was held on her

how could people just stand and watch?

she reminds me of me, on that night, that bridge,  my brothers' hurtful grip on my wrist, the sudden cold sensation it all went so fast that night, that slight flashback was all it took for me to move forward

"hey! she said she didn't steal it so leave her alone" my voice was followed by gasps from the audience with large whispers

"ha! you commoners think you can go against me! i am a baron! a noble! i own this place!"

how is he that cocky? a baron isn't much to brag about, Certainly these nobles never change do they 

"what proves that she was trying to steal from you then" i certainly wished i never asked that cause his eyes held danger after that, he let the girl go and stomped towards me, i tried to step back but he had already grabbed my wrist 

"you cocky little-" he trailed off when another hand caught his wrist in return 

"let her go" with those simple words the baron was enraged, he looked ready to puch the man behind him only to fall on the ground, he winced in pain and it was visible that he had been punched, i looked over the man...child? carsein!?

"are you alright?" his sudden appearance shock me, what was he doing here anyway?

"You brat!" the barons' aggressive voice was our queue to run, 

Carsein quickly took a hold of my hand as he ran...somewhere, we stopped in a more cheerful environment with a lot of lights and food smell, i couldn't take any of it since father said it isn't healthy

"haha" i came back to earth by Carseins' laugh

"did you see the look on his face!" he continued laughing making me laugh too in the process

"oh! right thank you for saving me!"

"aren't you a noble? most girls would've gotten scared after seeing that!"

"i guess so but i couldn't just let her get unjustly blamed"

"Well why get yourself involved with commoners anyway?"

"What? can't nobles be noble to commoners?"

"...what?"

"haha! well tonight I'm not a noble anymore!"

It's my first night out, so why not enjoy the festival a bit more? it's okay to get a bit rebellious sometimes right?

"Hey! you're going to eat all that!?"

Carsein was beyond stunned by the amount of food i was stuffing in my mouth, one stick after the other i chugged them down my throat harshly, enjoying the sweet sour taste of each piece i gulped

"Y-yep! and youwe pawing fow aw owf it!" 

Translation: yep! and you're paying for all of it!

"Huh!? do you know how much of these you've consumed!?"

"Hehe nope!"

to avoid further alterations with the red head, i ran in the other direction

"Wait!"

i could hear the sound of coins splattering on a rough wooden table and footsteps running closely behind me, and suddenly. I heard it.

my feet automatically stopped as i viewed the magical scenery around me, with fireflies lighting the soft moon glow, from the stage filled with laughing dancing couples and the melody filling each fiber inside me a soft smile spreading through my face

"Hey! don't run around like that! huh?"

he too was amazed and i could tell from the sudden halt in his words and running.

"do you know how to dance?"

i turned my head back lightly looking in his sky blue eyes that were filled with sparkles, watching his head move left and right to his disapproval.

'how long has it been since i last enjoyed a dance?'
