"ha! what a joke!"

Enrad where are you in moments like these?

"You don't want to become Empress? that's the worst joke i've ever heard"

"it's not a joke"

"oh so you really want to become a ...? what title is that anyway!?"

Good gracious,

"sir Carsein the tea is getting cold"

"bluh! it's not even that good why would i damage my precious taste buds huh?"

seriously!?

"Alright fine, then leave it"

"tsk! what else do you even do except pouring tea for servants? do you even wield the basics of swordsmanship? or you think this is a joke!"

So loud,

"Ha! see! in the end you'll just stay to be Empress! why would you bother hurting your fragile hands huh? what if the crown prince doesn't like it?" he mused,

*splash

"!"

"sir Carsein let me make myself clear i hate loud and impolite personalities, so if you can't stand being here you can use that energy to go away!"

"..."

"and for your information, i will not become empress rather you believe me or not. So have a nice rest of the day, sir Rass"

I walked out the outside garden leaving an astonished Carsein behind,

He really needs to learn some manners

And hopefully, the tea wasn't that hot. right?

-

"You what!?"

Aristia practically spilled the tea she was drinking upon hearing my story

"Exactly what you heard"

"but that could cause conflict between the Rass and Castillo households!"

I know

"...well it certainly is nice to have this time with you Aristia"

Aristia sighed, completely defeated, she paused her tea for a minute, genuinely looking at the bright blue eyes,

"What are you planning to do?"

Estelle leaned back in her seat, squinting her eyes slightly, thinking of what to respond,

The only answer that came out of her was,

"wait"

As that word left my mouth, a smirk appeared on my face

-

It certainly won't rain

She was referring to the part where Aristia would faint and Carsein would come to the rescue but,

' I haven't trained for a while '

was what Aristia told her before she left,

I was curious to where the plot was heading but seems it's still too early

"...Archduke..."

She squinted her eyes, It's at times like these that she starts hating herself, still wondering whether they will or won't come back,

But i don't care

Not anymore,

She stood up from her dressing chair and went for a walk, freezing when she saw a familiar figure at the entrance door, scratching the back of his head nervously.

"sir Carsein?, what a surprise to see you here,"

"ah! you! wait wait uh,uhmm. I apologize"

Perhaps it's what Estelle has been waiting for, as a sudden wave of warmth transferred within her,

"hmm, for what?"

She wanted to tease the red haired boy, hear what he had to say,

"...for speaking ill about you,"

She watched his face gradually turn red, was he the cute type? definitely!

She smiled inwardly,

"I also apologize for spilling tea on you this morning"

"..."

"...then will you have tea with me once more?"

Carsein immediately flinched at her request, remembering an unpleasant taste,

"oh! I'll add in more sugar if you wish," She countered, noticing Carsein's shiver

"ah! then yes!"

hehe too cute!

The tea was mixed with the cold wind and flesh smell of the grass, Carsein couldn't stop but look at her as he sipped on his cup,

"Is something wrong?"

"Well,,, you really don't want to be empress?"

"you still don't believe me?"

"no no! it's just that you! is it really okay?"

"nope" She smiled, leaving him dumbfounded

"because i won't anyway"

-

"I'm back"

"oh, Enrad"

"...I heard that Carsein came back"

"yes, nothing important though"

"i see"

*shut, she dropped the book on the table,

"Then I shall excuse myself"

Just before she took off, she saw Enrad's lips parting, only to close them without a word. And leave afterwards.

She leaned closer in her bed, a strange feeling circling inside her.

what's wrong with me today?

And

Spent that night crying again.
