i sighed as i crossed the book on my lap, landing it on the office table aside me. 

Is it so hard to find the record of Baron Alcott? he's not a big shot.

"Come in" i responded to the knock on my door watching Lila make her way inside, bowing down with a look of enthusiasm

the carriage departed with me Lila and Ferris and somehow, i never seemed to take notice that the carriage had came to a halt. 

that was fast. but it's good for me, i took a step out of the carriage with sir ferris as my escort towards the interior

passing through the arched door, one of the priests approached me and bowed

"May the blessings of life be bestowed upon you. Welcome to Sanktus Vita. Please state your name and purpose of the visit."

the priest guided me to my destination and left as soon after, sir Ferris stayed by the door as by my request and i started my research when a book fell from one of the shelves, i took pace and picked it up only to squint my eyes later on.

Wait-back then in the abandoned empress Aristia did talk to Vita, so this is not some coincidence

After closing my eyes, i felt like i've weighed off a huge burden of my chest. 

The hatred i had in me. 

my lungs are heaving in and out and I'm sweating, still shivering from my sudden outburst. waiting to hear what he had to say.
