My father would meet with Mr. Trafficate over dinner and bourbon at The Black Angus, a restaurant at the foot of the Hathaway bridge on the north side of Hwy 98 in Panama City. It was a very nice mafia owned business and was considered a safe place to have meetings due to countermeasures such as windows with metallic properties which made the use of eavesdropping futile. I remember seeing Mr. Trafficante and my Father drinking at another table as my mother and I dined on prime rib and lobster. I don't ever remember being allowed to sit at the same table as Mr. Trafficante but he did shake my hand when he arrived with his bodyguard once. I would always eat lots of crackers with butter that was on every table.
