A couple months later and me and Ethan were still together, I had gotten the job as their new makeup artist. He'd recently gone a trip for work. I'd decided to send him a picture:

'Hi baby, I miss you!'
'Can't wait for you to get back from your trip'

*ping*

I picked up my phone expecting it to be Ethan saying he missed me too but it was Harry.

'Umm.. wrong number?'

'SHIT! H, pretend you didn't see that!'
'Please, please, please, delete it from your phone'

'Already done don't worry about it'

'Thank you'

'Guessing that was meant for Ethan'

'Yeah'

Two days later and I was talking to Zayn, Niall and Harry.

Me: " I need some advice"

Niall: "shoot"

Me: "Is it normal for a guy to leave you or read?"

Harry: "that's it? I was expecting more"

Zayn: "yes. We do, a lot"

Me: "really?"

Niall: "yeah.. what can I say were assholes."

Harry: "if we don't feel like replying straight away we leave you on read"

Zayn: "sometimes we even forget to reply all together"

Me: "so it's not weird? I shouldn't be concerned he hasn't responded? Even if he's been on a trip the past week and has barely texted me"

Niall: "if he's on a trip maybe he's busy?"

Me: "maybe"

Zayn: "what did you text him?"

Me: "oh ummm. It was actually that picture I accidentally sent you H. But I guess you're right, i shouldn't worry so much"

Harry: "wait. Your saying you send him a sexy picture and he left you on read?!"

Me: "yeah.... but like you guys said guys are assholes. I'm sure it's normal"

Zayn: "oh believe me, if a girl sends a guy a picture like that and he doesn't respond"

Harry: "he's either gay"

Niall: "or with another girl"

Me: "what?

Harry: "if he's gay a women's body obviously doesn't do anything for him."

Niall: "and if he's with another women he doesn't need the picture because someone else is already taking care of him"

Zayn: "but even then, guys think with their dick, there is no way we would just ignore a picture"

Harry: "especially if he's your boyfriend. How long ago did you send it?"

Me: "two days ago? Right after I sent it to you by accident"

Niall: " I don't know what to say"

Me: "so it's a bad thing...."

Niall: "I'm not saying it is, but I'm also saying it's not"

Harry: "maybe he has a good reason"

Me: "yeah, maybe...."

Harry: "I'm sorry Darcy"

Me: "it's okay. Maybe you guys are right, maybe he has a good reason. I guess I'll I have to wait for him to either call me, text me or get home"

Next day.

Me: "turns out your right"

Harry: "with what?"

Me: "he is seeing someone else behind my back. He went on a fucking holiday with some girl, who he's being seeing most of our relationship apparently, even though he told me it was a work thing. And I was stupid enough to think he actually felt something for me. I even sent him that fucking picture of myself"

Harry: "I'm so sorry Darcy"

Zayn: "he's a dick! And I know this doesn't make it any better but he didn't deserve you at all"

Me: "yeah, well...."

Niall: "no no no! None of that! You are an amazing woman Darcy and it's his loss"

Louis: "your sweet, funny, kind and beautiful"

Harry: "if he can't see that that's his problem"

Me: "thanks guys, that's really sweet of you. I just feel so stupid, I feel like I should've seen it coming. Or maybe I should've done something to prevent it from happening"

Liam: "no matter what you would've said or what you would've done it probably wouldn't have changed anything"

Zayn: "he's just an asshole, okay?"

Me: "he might be an asshole, but I still loved him...."

Harry: "I know, we've all been there. Which is why I know you'll get over him. Just give it time, okay. You'll feel better soon"

Me: " I hope so. And thank you guys for listening to me and making me feel better and stuff"

Niall: "of course"

Harry: "anytime Darcy"

Louis: " I have an idea, how about we all go out"

Me: "I don't know.... I think I'm just going to stay in tonight, lay in bed, watch some movies and eat tones of ice cream"

Liam: "you sure? It'll be fun"

Niall: "you shouldn't be spending to much time being miserable over such a dick"

Me: "I'm not sure I'm going to be a lot of fun tonight"

Harry: "come on Darcy...."

Me: "I don't really have a choice do I?"

Louis: "no you don't"

Zayn: "we'll live in 20"

Harry: "wear something sexy ;)"

Me: "HARRY"

Harry: "sorry, sorry just joking! Wear whatever you want, you'll look beautiful no matter what"

Me: "okay, okay. I'll be down in 20"
