April.20-Cloudy    12:00pm     15 degrees celcius

Once we got our food, I asked Marcus, "Well, Mr.Harrison, where would you like to sit?"

He took a second to respond, probably thinking. He responded with, "Well, Mr.Myles, where do you usually sit?" He looked down at me, his light green eyes meeting my ocean blue eyes.

I took in a deep breath and decided to answer with the truth. "Well, I usually go on the roof. The janitor always forgets to lock the door. We don't have to go up there if you don't want to."

He didn't even give it a second thought before he answered with a sly smirk playing on his face,"Let's go up there. You're the only person I know here." I nodded and started leading him towards the staircase that lead to the door to the roof.

We were halfway there when he asked me, "I've been wondering, why don't you ever sit with Camry? I mean, you don't sit with her on the bus, you don't sit with her in the cafeteria, hell, you don't even acknowledge each other at all!" The way he said it was very.......enthusiastic. Before I knew it we were at the door and as I opened it, letting marcus in first, he continued on with his rambling. "I mean, if Case was in highschool, I would try to spend as much time with him as possible!"

I chuckled and responded with a simple, "We do sit together sometimes. It's just, her friends don't like me. Before you say anything, they don't even try to hid it. I never do or did anything. I think it's because they know that Camry's friend, Peyton, has a crush on Camry and they're mad and jealous that I get to spend so much time with her. I mean, I'm her brother. I'm not going to date her or steal them from her. Camry is actually really good at managing her time and live with everyone. I'm proud of her." I quickly realized that I was rambling and I shot my right hand to my mouth.

Marcus held his face with his hand as he gave me a loving look, while I rambled on about my sister. I mumble a quiet "Sorry," as I tilted my head to the ground.

He tilted my chin up to look at him, in his beautiful green eyes. "What are you sorry for? I, for one, think it's adorable when you ramble and I think it's amazing that you love you're family so much and that you can openly speak about your love and admiration for them. Not very many people can do that. Especially, if it's to someone they just met," he praised me. I had to try to push my little side down. That was the only thing I didn't tell him about me.

I've neevr told anyone before. The only one who knows is Jessie, and it's because they walked in on my with a paci in my mouth. I'm not ready to tell Marcus. Who knows? Maybe i'll tell him at some point.

"Thank you." We stayed like that, in silence staring at each other, his hand on my chin, until I remembered something. "You should come over after school. We could watch Voltron together so you can finally know what a palladin is." I suggested to him, expecting for him to say no.

"Sure. I would love to. It's a date"

And with that, the bell rung.
