We went back to the tents and chatted for a while. Me and Peter walked out and saw Oreius glance off, we looked that way and saw father and Edmund talking.

Susan and Lucy followed and looked to where we were looking.
Lucy gasped.
"Edmund!"
But I quickly got her and held her back.
Edmund and Aslan glanced at our way and walked over to us.

"What's done is done. There is no need to speak to Edmund about what is past.''
And father walked off.
There was a bit of awkward silence.

"Hello."
Said Edmund as Lucy, Susan and I hugged him, smiling.
"Are you alright?"
I asked him.
"I'm a little tired."
"Get some sleep."
Peter told Ed sternly as he walked off."
And Edmund, try not to wander off."

We all giggled at this.

~𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐩~

We sat down and had lunch, Ed was stuffing his face. I doubt the witch gave him any tasty food when he was in captivity.
"Narnia's not going to run out of toast, Ed."
I joked.
"I'm sure they'll pack something for the journey back."
"We're going home?"
I asked, a little annoyed.
"You are."

"What?"
Susan asked, also annoyed.
"I promised Mum I'd keep you all safe. But it doesn't mean I can't stay behind and help."
"Not a chance, Peter but I promised the same thing so I say we all stay together and keep each other safe here so we all stay together. Besides, I'm from here and I'll do whatever it takes to protect Narnia!"
Susan, Lucy and Ed agreed with me.

"They need us, all of us."
Lucy told him.
"Lucy it's too dangerous. You almost drowned! Edmund was almost killed!
"Which is why we have to stay."
Ed spoke.

"I've seen what the white witch has done and helped her do it. We can't leave these people behind to suffer for it."
'wow, Ed's became a lot wiser. We love character development.'

"I suppose that's it then."
Susan said getting up.
"Where are you going?"
Susan picked up her bow and arrows and smiled at us.
"To get in some practise."
