"You're not going to answer that?"
"Nope."
Ping.
She grit her teeth, what was this guy's problem? She pulled out her phone.
Where are you?
On top of the slide in the park but why would I tell you that? She thought with an evil grin before pocketing her phone.
She looked up to see Marcus giving her a weird look, "Okay," He muttered, stretching the syllables out.
She just smiled at him.
"Tell me more about the drama club."

He drove to her house early the next morning. Whatever this thing was, it had to stop.
He couldn't sleep.
He didn't know what he did wrong.
He didn't know why his best friend was ignoring him.
That wasn't okay.
He slammed the door shut with more velocity than needed, and got out.
Her car was gone.
Skye Morris never drove.
He leaned against the door and ran his fingers through his hair, frustrated.
It had been almost two years since Skye Morris had gotten her driving license, and never had she driven to school.
Not once.
