It's after shift and Maya is getting her place ready for Boden and Herrmann. They arrive at the door with boxes in their hands
"Hey guys! Come on in!" Maya says opening the door
"So Herrmann your room is to the left and chief yours is to the right!" Maya says enthusiastically
"Thank you so much Avery! It means a lot!" Herman says
"Don't worry about it!" Maya says
They both go into their rooms and unpack their things. The door goes and Maya answers it
"Casey! What do I owe the pleasure?" Maya says surprised
"Just came to see if chief or Herman needed a hand!" Casey says enthusiastically
"Sure! Come on in!" Maya says opening the door
"Your place is huge!" Casey says looking around
"Captains salary I guess!" Maya says laughing
"I guess you made the best decision moving to New York" Casey says
"Yeah I did! But you also made the best decision staying here! You got married again!" Maya says enthusiastically
"You two would get on really well!" Casey says
"I bet we would! Anyway that Brett has her eye on you!" Maya says awkwardly
"I know! She has had since Dawson left! I'm just not that into her" Casey says looking at Maya in the eyes
"Maybe you should give her a try she seems nice" Maya says with Casey moving closer to her
They stare at each other for a second. At this point they are really close together
"Guys?" Herman says as they both jump
"Herrmann!" Casey says
"How do you like your new room?" Maya says
"It's great! I just need some help putting up a shelf!" Herman says enthusiastically
"I'll get right on that! Lead the way!" Casey says awkwardly
They walks into Herman's room and he closes the door. Maya sits down on the couch and buries her face into her hands
"You okay?" Boden says
"Did you see all of that?" Maya asks cautiously
"Yep!" Boden says sitting down next to her
"I'm so stupid! Going after my ex husband!" Maya says
"You can tell you love him! And he loves you! He hasn't took his eyes off you since you came to 51!" Boden says calmly
"Really?" Maya says shocked
"Yes! I for one thing you two would be great together! You would make a cute little family one day!" Boden says smiling
"Yeah but we've already been there and it didn't work out!" Maya says looking down at the floor
"But you had to leave! I think you should ask him out! See where you get?" Boden says before standing up and walking out
"Huh! Maybe I should?" Maya says to herself
