Maya is shocked and a little upset about what Brett has said. She decides to stay clear of Casey as it's not worth it. He appears at her quarters
"You okay?" Casey asks
"Great! Why?" Maya says not looking at him
"No your not!" Casey says shutting the door
"What are you doing?" Maya asks
"Spill!" Casey says sitting down on Mayas bed
"It's honestly nothing Matt!" Maya says trying not to make eye contact with Matt
"Then why can't you even look at me?" Matt says getting down on his knees in front of Maya
"Because I couldn't give you a baby! I lost it!" Maya says holding back the tears
"That was years ago Maya! Over 5 years ago! What's brought this on?" Casey says concerned
"Oh nothing" Maya says looking at Brett as she passes
"Did she say something?" Casey says getting mad
"It's okay Matt! Im writing her up!" Maya says grabbing onto his arm
"What did she say?" Casey says letting out a sigh
"Umm that I couldn't Cary a baby for you! And then had the audacity to cry about it! And she said that she was Umm glad for the baby never having to put up with a mum like me" Maya says with the tears dropping from her eyes
"Don't listen to her! You would have been an amazing mum! Our little girl would have been so lucky to have you as a mum! Your loving and caring!"Casey says looking into her eyes
"I love you Matt!" Maya says looking at him
"I think you a little upset! And don't know what your talking about" Casey says taking her hands
"No! I love you Matt Casey and I'll never stop loving you!" Maya says as Matt let's go of her hands
"I'm gonna go before I cause anymore trouble" Casey says before walking out
Maya let's out a big sigh before writing her report on Brett. Maya has just finished up with some dinner and is called into Bodens office.
"You wanted to see me chief?" Maya says
"Yes! Come in and shut the door!" Boden says enthusiastically
Maya sits down
"It's regarding the report about Brett?" Boden asks
"Oh yeah! Everything in the report is true and I just couldn't let her away with something like that" Maya says
"Okay! I totally get where your coming from! I've just received word back from headquarters and they are giving her a 40 day suspension" Boden says looking at the files
"Okay! I just wanted it to be dealt with!" Maya says before walking out
