*TW* This chapter contains panic attacks....
"You keep your eyes on me okay! Keep them open for Noah! He needs his best friend!" Maya says with tears in her eyes
"It...It...H-Hurts" Kelly says weakly
"Your stronger than this Kelly! Keep fighting!!" Maya shouts as an ambulance turns up
"Can you H-Hold my hand?" Kelly asks
"Of course I can honey!" Maya says as she takes Kelly's hand
The paramedics them rush over and push Maya out of the way. They start to work on Kelly then load him into the ambulance and drive away.
"We're gonna head to the hospital" Casey says
"Same here!" Herrmann shouts
"So will squad!" Cruz shouts
Maya then gets into her car and drives to the hospital. She walks in to see everyone sitting in the waiting room. She sits down next to Casey and he takes her hand. Maya starts to have flashbacks of the day and is in shock
*Flashback*
"Good Job Luitenent!" Maya says as she smiles
"Watch out!" Someone shouts as Kelly's blood splatters over Mayas face
"Uh!" Kelly says as the bullet hits him
"Kelly!" Maya shouts
"Maya!" Kelly says as he falls to the ground
"Stay with me! You stay awake! I can't loose my best Luitenent!" Maya shouts
"This is all your fault! If he dies this is on you! I mean look at you! Your covered in his blood!" Mayas head says
*Current day*
Maya starts to breath really fast and her heart rate gets higher. She starts to wave her hands about
"Chief?" Everyone says confused
"I can't.." Maya says struggling to breath
"You can't what honey?" Casey says as he kneels on the floor in front of her
"I can't..." Maya says not able to get the words out
"Talk to me! What's going on?" Casey says worried
"Breath! I can't breath!" Maya shouts whilst clutching her chest
"She's having a panic attack Casey" Cruz says
"Look at me Maya! You need to breath!" Casey shouts which makes things worse
"I...Can't!" Maya shouts with her breathing getting rapidly faster
"Just breath Maya!" Casey shouts
"Let me Casey" Herrmann says as he takes Casey's place
"Okay kid you need to breath! In and out! Do it with me?" Herrmann says as he starts to breath slowly and Maya try's to copy him
"That's it Maya!" Herrmann says with a proud look on his face
"You've got this!" Casey whispers as Maya looks at him
"Cruz go get me a glass of water" Herrmann says
"On it!" Cruz says as he gets up and wanders out
Maya has managed to get her breathing under control but her hands are still shaking. She takes a sip of water but spills some on the floor. She kneels down to clean it up
"I've got it! You sit down!" Casey says as he puts his hand over hers
However what they don't know was that Dr.Charles was watching the whole thing happen...
