That night, my dreams were plagued with nightmares. It kind of reminded me of when I was little, I used to get a lot of nightmares then too. It was one of the reasons I didn't like sleeping. As I grew up, I learnt to control most of my dreams and become self-aware, blocking out the bad and controlling the good. However, that night, I had no control whatsoever and it was driving me crazy. Sighing, I stood up, leaving my bedroom with the intent of grabbing a game. Games always help me calm down.

"Izuku? What are you doing up? Don't you have exams tomorrow?"

Faintly, I smiled at my dad. He looked tired, masses of paper laid out on the table. "I can't sleep."

Dad gave me a sympathetic look. I'm sure he must have seen my red-rimmed eyes and worked out why I couldn't sleep. "Want to help me? It's been a while since I've had your creative input on one of my games."

Nodding, I sat contently beside my dad. He showed me the faults in the game as we brainstormed how to fix them. I have no idea when I fell asleep but when I woke, I was back in my bed.

I could basically feel the class's questioning looks as I entered the classroom. Clearly, they hadn't forgotten about my episode yesterday. Why couldn't they just forget, it would make my life a hell of a lot simpler.

"Hey, Izubro, you feeling better?" Kirishima walked up to my desk, a goofy grin on his face.

"Yeah though I'm pretty sure dad spiked my drink." I rubbed my eyes before stretching backwards. Kirishima looked slightly disturbed from my announcement but I waved him off. I could feel my heart plummeting when Kaminari and Katsuki walked into the room. They seemed to be having a pleasant conversation and Kaminari was even smiling. He looked so much better when he smiled. Sighing, I tried to ignore the heartbreak I was feeling and look anywhere other than Kaminari.

Kirishima stayed by my desk. He didn't say anything else, he just watched me. It was a little creepy but at this point, I wasn't going to say anything. Eventually, the teacher arrived and we were given our tests.

I have no idea what I wrote down in my half-asleep state but I hope it was good enough to pass. Usually, it was good enough to pass. All we had to do now was the practical exam. That was going to kill me more than any written test could. I'm not sure how my heart will take much more strain. At least it was robots so it should be easier.

Fucking Nezu.

I can't seem to catch a break today. We weren't against robots, we were against full pros. Sure they had a minor handicap but so did we! Each team was picked to struggle against the hero. And, to make matters worse, the teams were picked to put those of us who clashed with each other and apparently, Kaminari and my tension, hadn't gone unnoticed.

I sent a hoping look to Kaminari, maybe this would allow me to talk to him. "We should go plan."

"No, I'm good. I'm sure we'll be fine without a plan." Kaminari forced a smile to his face as he sprinted away. I clenched my fist, wanting nothing more than to call out to him. Why couldn't I just speak to him?!

Turning away, I walked up to the observatory but didn't pay attention to anything on the screen.

~~~
Kirishima narrowed his eyes, flickering between Kaminari and Izuku. "Hey, Bakubro, do you think something happened between them?"
Katsuki looked up, spotting the people Kirishima was talking about. "I'm sure they're fine."
"But Bakubro! Izubro and Kamibro have been avoiding each other since they came back from internships!"
"Just leave them. Dekiru will work it out without our interference." Katsuki stormed off to the observatory, frowning when he spotted Izuku sleeping in the corner. Maybe Kirishima had a point.
