She was surprised, overwhelmed, grateful, and what not. Tears brimming in her eyes once again, but this time they were tears of joy. We humans are weird, we cry when we are sad but we also cry when we are happy, but that's our way to express that overwhelming feeling we feel.
Kartik's pov:
"Kartik aap boht achhe hai. Life mein pehli baar...pehli baar kisi ne mujhe itni importance di hai! Main bata nahi sakti ki aap jaisa jeevansaathi paa kar main kaisa mehsus kar rahi hu. Aap world ke best husband hain!!" She hugged me.
I hugged her back.
"Bass bass main yaha koi award lene nahi aaya hu jo speech de rahi ho." I grinned. She giggled in my chest. It felt so good to see her happy.
"Toh kya lene aaye hain aap?" She asked me smiling innocently.
"Tumhe." I replied.
She came out of the hug. She raised an eyebrow at me. Uff!
"Hum baahar jaa rahe hain."
I smiled full teeth, but she didn't seem happy.
"Koi problem hai kya?"
I was concerned.
"Woh dadi..."
Her fears are genuine.
"Maine kaha na...daro mat. Aur unki tension mat lo. Maine sabko bata diya hai." I spoke calmly.
"Naira..."
I held her shoulders together.
"Hum ek dusre ko shaadi se pehle bilkul nahi jante the. Par shayad humein iss shaadi ko ek chance dena chahiye. Chahe gharwalo ne humari iccha ke virudhh humara rishta joda ho par ab lagta hai achha hua ki humara ek dusre se rishta juda. I really want to know you Naira. Toh maine decide kiya hai ki ab se koshish karunga ki main apna zyada se zyada samay tumhare saath bitaun, kyuki main bitaana chahta hu."
She nodded in response and I caressed her cheek and that smile was constant on her face, I hope it always stays that way.
She went to change but soon she peeked from the washroom door. She gave me a cute look.
I asked her through my eyes 'what happened?'
"Kahaan jaa rahe hain hum?" She asked with a pout.
Awwie my cutie bride! I'm definitely falling hard for this girl!
"Surprise." I smiled mischievously.
That curious pout changed into an angry pout.
"You still look cute!"
I teased her as she slammed the bathroom door.
