"H-Haru..."

"Yeah...?

"Your breath... it's tickling me" Chiyu complained causing Haru to let out an annoyed groan

"*ugh* Fine! Then I guess we'll just have to stop cable-linking now doesn't it!" Haru exclaimed "No way! If for some reason Taku's copy fails. I want to be able to install it from you okay?!" Chiyu reasoned as she got near Haru's face

"Are we ready?" Taku butted in "No quite yet" Chiyu replied before yanking the cable that's connected to Haru and linked it with hers "Hey, Why didn't you bring your own cable!?" Haru questioned "Well I'm not the one to blame, you are for not having two long cables" Chiyu retorted as she and Haru finally laid down on her bed.

"Chi, THis is your last chance to change your mind. Brain Burst isn't just some type of game. What I'm about to send you might change your world as you know it, and who knows if you might regret it" Taku warned "He's right, this isn't just some easy way for you to get some awesome powers. Once you start playing you can't qui-"

"I already told you all of this!" Chiyu interrupted "I don't care about those silly powers or anything like that, I'm just gonna show you how to enjoy a game rather than letting it control you guys for the rest of your life. So come on, let's do it!" She continued "*sigh* If you say so" Taku gave in as he sent Chiyu the Brain Burst program

"Load Application?" The interface from Chiyu's neuro-linker asked as she pressed confirm before it began loading up the program

"Haru, I'm scared. What if this changes Chi" Taku told Haru via Neuro-speak "You're scared about that!? I'm more scared of what A-Kun will do when he finds out" Haru said as he frantically fidgets around "He's not actually serious about that was he?" Taku asked curiously "I don't know..."

Flashback

"Hey, A-Kun?" Haru asked nervously to his friend who was enjoying some ramen "What is it, Haru?" He replied, "What would you do if Chiyu suddenly has Brain Burst and you found out it was one of us?" Haru asked very specifically as he waited for his friend to finish his ramen

"I will fucking kill both of you," Akuin said menacingly his hair covering one side of his face causing his eye to shine through his hair and with the lighting of the ramen shop adding to his scary look "Ahh, I'm just messing you!" Akuin exclaimed as he threw his arm around Haru's shoulder laughing at his friend's distress before slurping down the ramen's broth "Like Chi-chan can get Brain Burst from you two, you guys are smart enough to know that's a bad idea!" He laughed as Haru awkwardly chuckled at his friends claim

Flashback end

"Who knew Akuin could be so scary! It was like staring at the devil himself." Haru commented, " W-why are we doing this again!?" He asked frantically, remembering their predicament "Well let's just hope he doesn't find out and hope for the best" Taku said, "I really hope that it doesn't work." Haru added just as Chiyu's Neuro-linker beeped

"Huh? Welcome to...The Accelerated World" Chiyu recited, shocking Taku and worrying Haru beyond belief "Oh no...it worked!" They both grimaced as now everyone in their friend group is now Burst Linkers.

Meanwhile (Accelerated world)

Akuin is seen in his avatar but with the addition of a contraption on his chest all the way to his back. This is Tricksters' Duplicator an Enhanced armament that he received after defeating Chrome Disaster and till this day had yet to say anything to his friends about it. "Ok, let's see what this thing could do," Akuin said as he opened his inventory and looking at the stats and lore of the Enhanced Armament
