Second Kiss

Sheer and sparkling red lace adorned my beautiful body. My dark hair was put into a delicate but elegant bun. Little tendrils of baby hair framed my face creating an illusion of that of an innocent maiden.

Innocent maiden, huh? I smirked to myself. 

"Y/N you look so beautiful today. Do you have the right to look to look so ethereal?", you whispered to yourself staring at yourself in the mirror. 

"Madam which lipstick would you prefer today?", the maid asked smiling at you. 

"The red lipstick as usual Lila. I wouldn't want anyone to miss the opportunity of me seeing with without my signature red lips.", you said smiling sheepishly at her. 

"Agreed madam.", Lila said and grabbed the beautiful red stick and started applying on my lips with a brush. 

"Ahh, you look so beautiful madam.", Lila said.

"Thank you my sweetheart. You can take the rest of the day and the weekend off. Go to the market and buy some clothes for your kids and you.", I said giving Lila some gold coins. 

"Thank you so much madam. You're always so merciful.", Lila said bowing and took her leave. 

"Hmm, let's get today over with." Giving one last glance at myself I grabbed my clutch and dropped my red lipstick in it. 

It took 5 minutes to reach my carriage which would be taking me to the Jeon mansion. 

"Took you long enough to reach here sweetheart.", my father said huffing.

"Shut up, dear. Look at our beautiful daughter. She looks like a princess.", my mother said cutting my father off.

"Ofcourse, she has taken upon me.", father said teasing mother.

"Oh you--"

"Enough of your silly banter. Sometimes I feel like I'm your parent.", I crossed my arms and looked outside of our carriage which started moving.  

"Jokes apart, Y/N I want you to be on your best behaviour. Please don't let your anger cloud your mind. You know how Lord Jeon is close to us. He's almost like our family. I just don't want any unnecessary argument specially between you and his son. Today is his crowni--", 

"I don't care about the crowning of that stupid brat. Mr. Jeon asked me to come himself that's the only reason I'm joining you all. I have no interest in meeting Jungkook. I had better stuff to do today anyway. And yes, I will try to keep my cool. I'm not promising anything though.", I said with a poker face swallowing all of my emotions. 

"Thank you Y/N, Thanks for understanding. You know we love you.", my mother said holding my hand. 

"I know.", I said and looked at the approaching mansion from the window of our carriage. 

The mansion was just as I had seen it last summer. The huge grey walls and the blue detailing on the gates which made it look like piece of art. 

"We have arrived.", our butler said opening the doors of our carriage. 

Stepping out from the confines of our warm carriage I could instantly feel the goosebumps prickling my skin. I covered myself with the fur coat I had brought with me to give myself some warmth. 

The mansion was decorated in the scheme of red. Jungkook's favourite color. Looking at my own clothes I rolled my eyes. Ughh, why did I had to choose this color today?
