(Y/N)'s PoV

Its been almost two weeks since I somehow got here to Etheria and to my surprise I was right, I am in an other planet ~etheria~ is strange but beautiful, it's full of magic and wonderful creatures. Bow and Glimmer have been helping me to find out how I got here but nada. There are no records of this ever happening before. None of the books I had read have been useful. It's like I just puff into thin air

But on the bright side, Bow and Glimmer have been telling me everything about the planet and the princesses and the Horde. Now I know why they were so scared the day we meet, the Horde it's awful

Angela has been trying to help me to use my powers, to control it, but since that day in the woods I haven't been able to do it. I don't think I have magic but Bow and Glimmer seem pretty committed to it so... Also there is the (F/C) barrier that day

'was it me? Did I actually do it? Probably not'

Also found out the Glimmer can teleport like TELEPORT ¡What in the world!

"C'mon (Y/N), you can do it" Bow says excited that I'm trying to use my powers

"Yeah, go (Y/N)" Glimmer cheers smiling at me

"Just focus. Clear your mind. Every power it's different, they express themselves in many ways. You just have to concentrate, feel your body, feel it going through you and then try to move it..... make it go from wherever it is to your hands" the Queen says with a voice full of wisdom and softness

I close my eyes, taking a deep breath, doing what she said and she was right, I can feel something inside of me, it feels warm and safe... powerful yet calmed. I focus on moving it to my hands but nothing happened

"I can feel it but I can't control it" I say stress out

'why doesn't it work'

"You can't control it (Y/N), magic doesn't work like that, it's drawn by emotions, it's there to help you, even guide you sometimes. Every power it's different, you have to find what draws yours to appear" Queen Angela says to me

I look down at my hands and frown my eyebrows

"You can't doubt yourself, you must trust that you can handle it. Trust in the power, trust that it will be there for you when you need it" she offers, reaching out to hold my hands, drawing my attention to her

I have to admit that I am a little afraid of this powers, what if I'm not strong enough to hold the magic and it gets out of control and I hurt someone. Back at the woods I felt powerful, too powerful

I'm starting to think that I actually created the barrier and if that is true that came too easy for me. I didn't even think about it, I just wanted to protect Glimmer and Bow and the barrier was there, like it knew I wanted to keep them safe and helped me do it

'That's what the Queen said right?.... The magic will be there when I needed it'

Before I could say something to the Queen a guard came in and said that she was needed in the war room. She looks back at me

"We continue this later (Y/N), just keep in mind what I told you...." she rests her hands on my shoulders and smiles, giving me a gentle reassuring squeeze before walking away to the castle door but before she got there she turns around to say one more thing

".....And I see you kids at dusk to go to the festival" she smiled and at last entered the castle

'I will never get the hang of this, am I?'

"You will get it (Y/N), don't worry" Glimmer says softly as she walks to me. Giving me a little smile that told me she knew what I want thinking

"Yes, you can't expect to learn it all in one evening, magic is very complex and mysterious" Bow says sweetly also with the smile that told he knew as well
