(Y/N)'s PoV
"You can't be serious!" Glimmer says surprised and a little strongly
"Glim I have to go. Maybe I can find something about my powers, about what it means to have them. Maybe even an answer of how I got here" I say hopefully, walking to her. We came back from the beacon and went to the War Room to talk with Glimmer and the other Princesses
"(Y/N) I get it but we are in the middle of a war here... You two can't run out like that" Glimmer says sadly but with a hint of anger and authority
"What if they want to go.... It's not like they will take too long, it would probably last a day tops" Mermista says unimpressed as always
"Maybe we can go out on patrols more often.... Double them... I know this is something she has to do" Perfuma says sweetly and supportively
"That's not the point, I want her to go too but the Horde somehow is winning and we need all of us together to be able to fight them" Glimmer says angrily but not at us.... I think
"But maybe if we go there, we can find something that would help. I mean nobody ever heard of the Etherian Warrior before and yet look at my powers. All I'm saying is that there could be something in that town that it might be worth looking for" I say hopefully
"I think (Y/N) and Adora should go. This is clearly very important for (Y/N) so I support her" Flutterina says supportively and happy
"Thanks Flutterina" I smile sweetly

"C'mon Glimmer, we won't be gone for too long.... Like Mermista said, a day tops. She really wants to find out about herself and I know how that feels...." Adora says a little desperately as she holds my hand sweetly
"....She needs this. I promise we'll be back soon" she finished confidently and proud
"And I want her to find that out too Adora. I really do, but I don't think this is the time. I need you two here.... now" Glimmer says a little demanding but also sadly. Glimmer turns around and walks away
"But Glimmer.." Bow starts but she is gone. I look down defeated, I really wanted to go. I want to know why do I have this powers...... why ME, of all the creatures in the entire universe... Why a human girl like me
"(AC/N)?" Adora asks worry as she gets close to me, clearly noticing my broken expression
"It’s fine... It's alright.... Maybe we should stay" I say sadly and defeated but trying my best to sound optimistic and happy
"(AC/N)" Adora breathes out in disbelief and broken, knowing that I don't mean it
"As much as I want to go, Glimmer is right. We are in the middle of a war, we shouldn't go. It can wait.... I can wait" I force a smile as I turn around to walk away too but Adora runs in front of me and holds my shoulders
"(AC/N) NO! You've been trying to get answers for almost five years now and you finally have a chance to get them" she says sweetly and full with hope
"I have answers!!" I fake a laugh
"That left you with more questions.... You deserve this" she insists sweetly as she places her left hand on my cheek, caressing it with her thumb
"Adora is right.... You two should go, I'll take care of Glimmer" Bow says sweetly as he walks to us
"We'll keep everything running fine here till you two come back" Flutterina says happily. I smile slightly
"So?" Adora asks hopefully. I smile happily as I see my friends supporting me but frown sadly after
