(Y/N)'s PoV

"Adora, this is all my fault. Glimmer was right, we shouldn't have gone there" I sigh sadly as I walk to our balcony. We made it back to Bright Moon a couple of hours ago and find out multiple towns were attacked when we were gone

"(AC/N) It's not, ok. We didn't know that would happen, don't be too hard on yourself" Adora says sweetly as she follows me outside

"We weren't here and they got attacked. Our friends are hurt. We should've listen to Glimmer. We should've stayed" I say defeated as I lean to the railing. I feel Remy's face snuggle under my arm as they sit next to me, I smile weakly and start caressing their head

"We did the right thing ok. We found out more about your powers and we freed Remy! They were trap in that place for a long time, if we would've stayed here they would still be trap, right Remy? Help me out here...." Adora looks at Remy. They meow in agreement as they jump on the rail and lay down in front of us, we start caressing them and they purr lovingly. Adora giggles childish and I just smile weakly

"....Look I know you feel bad for what happened but there is no way we could have known. You needed this, you needed answers....." she says sweetly as she brushes her fingers lovingly against my cheek

"....And trust me, as someone who is going through the same thing you are, I can tell you we did good. There is nothing worst than not knowing something about yourself. Well, probably something even worst would be when someone is deliberately lying about it" Adora says sweetly as she moves her hand to place a piece of hair behind my ear

"But the towns" I frown sadly

"We'll free them again. There is nothing that could stop us" Adora says confidently and smiling

"You promise?" I ask concerned as I look at her, she smiles brightly and leans to kiss my lips lovingly

"I promise. But please don't regret what we did. You deserved to know" Adora says lovingly as she side hugs me

Adora's PoV

As I side hug (AC/N) we hear Remy meow, then I hear her giggle and I see a slight blush on her cheeks

"What did they say?" I ask curious

"They say we should get a room" (AC/N) giggles as she sets her head on my shoulder. I feel Remy place their head on top of my hand, starting to purr again

"I still can't believe they created that bug to poison the Etherian Warrior" (AC/N) whispers sadly as she plays with Remy's mane. I see Remy's ear drop sadly as she says that. I guess they really mimick her emotions

"I can.... After seeing how they forced Serena to train and how she ended up, I can imagine just how far they were willing to go" I say sadly and a little angry

"You think they talked her into it? I mean, how messed up did they have to be to make Serena hurt her friends" (AC/N) asks worry and broken

"I don't know. But they certainly manipulated her. Fed her lies about the Etherians and about Kaya and Etta" I say sadly but Remy starts to meow as they look at us. Of course I didn't understand so I look at (AC/N)

"Apparently it started with normal trainings. Helping towns and protecting people, but it was a lie. The First Ones became more and more desperate to hold more power. More magic. They tried to convince the Etherians to tell them about the magic of the planet but they didn't, so the First Ones searched for answers on their own. This led to a war between them and the Etherians, that's when Kaya got her powers and everything just got worst after that.
