24- Princess Prom

(Y/N)'s PoV

I think I'm in love with Adora

Lately I've been feeling weird around her. Not bad weird but good wierd. every time she smiles at me I feel my heart beat faster and I blush hard. With each laugh I melt in happiness, it's like I can only hear her laughing... it's the only thing that truly matters in the entire universe

I always want to be with her. Every time we spar I crave for her contact but not just at practice also when we hug, she would always place her head on my neck and hold my waist tenderly... this affection sends me to heaven every time

I feel so safe and loved in her arms... her embrace... Like I was made to be in them. I only want her... I want to be with her... to make her happy, love her the way she deserves... I want to give absolutely all of me to her, but I can't tell her... I can't tell her I love her... I don't think she feels the same way about me

'I bet she just sees me as a friend'

"Concentrate (Y/N)!" the Queen snaps me out of my thoughts

"Sorry Your Majesty" I say embarrassed and go back to training

Adora's PoV

What is happening to me? I feel different when I'm around (AC/N). I always enjoy our training time, even more now than before, I like the feeling of her touch on my body when we are sparring. Everytime she says a joke or smiles playfully at me I feel my heart skip a beat. I feel the necessity of keeping her safe... like I would die if something happens to her. I crave all day for the moment I can lay on her bed at night... to have our late night conversation. To see the love and kindness those beautiful (E/C) have when she looks at me... I love the feeling of her arms around me, of her touch....

'And I don't know what to do... what does this means?'

I walk to Glimmer’s room. I received an invitation to a princess ball and when I aks them what it was the cheered loudly, clearly very excited for it but I was so sure about it myself, I've never been in one

'i wish (AC/N) was here... she would probably say something smart but completely funny'

Thinking of her brought a smile to my face and a weird but warm feeling in my stomach

"It's gonna be so fun! And Princess Frosta is hosting it this year in the Kingdom of Snows! Her magic is incredibly powerful. She'd be a huge get for The Rebellion!" Glimmer says exticed and I whimper

"Don't worry! I'll be with you... and (Y/N) can go as your plus one..." she says and I feel my cheeks get hotter at the thought of (AC/N) being in the dance by my side

"...And so will Bow since he's going as my plus one!" she finished exticed but Bow looks worry

"Uh actually.." he mumbles nervously

"Together, the four of us can handle anything" she continues

"About that.." he says and honestly whatever is about to happen here is going to blow up in my face

"It's the best friend squad in action! Right Bow?" She asks him
