Adora's PoV

I've been looking everywhere for (AC/N) and Catra. I tried to fight the bug but it didn't matter how hard I tried I couldn't destroy it. That thing hurt (AC/N). It poisoned her and now she is who knows where and I can't help her

I can only hope Catra is protecting her. I know it sound insane that I am trusting my girlfriend's life to our enemy but I know Catra cares about her. Or at least I hope I'm not wrong about her

I need to find them and get them out of here. I have to heal (AC/N), whatever that thing infected her with is killing her. And the weird thing is that it looks like a First Ones creature. It's certainly as strong as their tech

"OF COURSE!! It's First One's tech!!..." I shout exited to no one but then frown sorrowfully

"...And that poison. It was probably design by them... To kill her" I whisper brokenly as I feel my heart cracked

"(AC/N)!!...... (AC/N)!!! C'mon Cub please talk to me" I hear Catra shout near me. I run to her direction and in no time I found her

"Adora!" she shouts surprised

"Catra finally....." I say relief

"....Where.... Where is (AC/N)" I ask worry when I see she is not here

"Uhh... Adora I..." she mumbles worry as I see her ears drop, which only happens when she feels guilty about something or when she is sad

"....I don't know" she whispers embarrassed and worry

"You lost (AC/N)!" I say surprised and a little angry

"I didn't mean to. The bug showed up and I fought it but... When I looked around she was gone" she says sadly but trying not to show it

"You know what! It doesn't matter, we need to find her now. I need to heal her... NOW" I shout desperately and worry

"...Really, you are a horrible girlfriend" she says a little angrily but hiding it by mocking. I turn to her angry

"I AM a good girlfriend! And that's not what I meant. The bug, is First Ones tech which means.." I say but she interrupts

"It was designed to hurt her" she gasps in disbelief. A hint of horror flashes in her eyes, as her body tensed up and fur gets electric

"Worst.... It think it's meant to kill her with the poison.. And the longer it stay inside of her, the worst she'll get" I say desperately as I feel a tight nod on my throat

"The bug.... it keeps going after her... and only her...." she whispers terrified as the realization hits her but shakes the thought off her head

"...Ok. So what do we do?" She asks determined. My eyes widen at this

"You.... You want to help her?" I ask in disbelief

"Don't make a big deal out of it. She saved me once. I'm only returning the favor" she says trying to sound uncaring but I know her better than that

"Ok.... So let's go, there has to be a way to find her" I say as I start walking

"So this is your plan? Walk around in this place without any real strategy?....." She asks unimpressed. I stop but don't turn to look at her

"....Seriously at this point I'm sure (AC/N) is the only reason why you haven't gotten yourself killed" she teases as she walks next to me but I grab her wrist
