He's waited for so long to 'bring you under his care' and one day, you ended up with an accident of some sort and the next thing you knew, you woke up surrounded with bright glares of hospital lights and an unknown dark haired person peering at your face with a worried and concerned expression on his face. See, this was the reason he felt the need to bring you under his care since you weren't safe in the world now

After you woke up, you asked him who he was and what were you doing there. He was now confused, didn't you remember him? Then when he asked the doctors what was wrong with you, they told him you had amnesia and they were about to phone your parents but he came up with a lie that your parents were dead and now you lived with him. Well, surprisingly they believed his tale and he brought to his house where he told you that you were already dating and were a couple. He'd been finally waiting for confessing his feelings to you for a while now but now this was better! You needed his help for little things everyday but he didn't seem to mind one bit. In fact, he loved spending time with you and adored every single feature of you up close. As much as he feels kinda thankful that you lost your memory, he feels infuriated at the scumbag who did make you lose your memory and let's just say he's gonna be paying that person a surprise visit in the night. God save that poor schmuck
