YANDERE NUTCRACKER HINATA SHOYO AU X READER

So... in the spirit of this festive Holiday season, I bring forth Yandere Nutcracker Deku for you little gingerbreads :) If I'm not mistaken Nutcracker dolls are those little toy soldiers with that staff in their hand with a red coat and black hat right? So... in this AU, Deku is your loyal little doll that swears to protect you ever since you bought him from that little toyshop and you treat him so well. And I got this idea from seeing The Nutcracker and the Four Realms lol

It was a snowy and cold day, and there was just a week before it was your favorite holiday of the year, Christmas. You loved Christmas, not because of the presents, but because of the heavenly smell of ginger bread houses with those cute little gingerbread men and women, decorating Christmas trees, putting up fairy lights and stuff like that. And also, not to mention, you loved playing in the snow and making snow angels and making snowmen too. And the smell of those wonderful goodies from bakeries... how divine

But right now you were just wandering around on the streets since you were feeling bored. You didn't have work, you had a week off for it since your boss was lenient and wasn't uptight like usual bosses. You smiled softly to yourself and thought of it as some sort of Christmas miracle that your boss decided to grant you and your colleagues an entire week off for Christmas but then again, you didn't really believe in Christmas miracles, they just can't be true, right?

You kept walking and the sight of children playing in the snow and making snowmen made your heart warm and you smiled a little to yourself. You glanced around your surroundings and saw a bakery and you heard that their fruit cake was enrichingly delicious according to your friends and you decided to try it out. You went inside the bakery and spoke to the person behind the counter and asked for the fruit cake and after you got it, you paid for it and got out. You then stumbled across an antique looking shop and you always had a fascination for antique things, they just looked so.... mysterious and full of secrets that you couldn't wait to uncover

You went inside the shop and you rang the bell on the counter twice to see if anyone was there but there wasn't anyone present there at the moment. Your curiosity got the better of you and you decided to take a look around the shop and whatever expectations you had, this shop had met all of them. From ancient looking books bound with black leather belts to old wooden dolls to little Nutcracker soldiers to old grandfather clocks and other things, they all piped up your interest. But what caught your attention the most was the little Nutcracker doll that was sitting right beside the hourglass there. You knew how Nutcrackers were, they usually had black hats, red coats with white shirts and black shoes but this one was a little different. He had freckles on his cute face, shimmering brown eyes that seemed to glimmer every now and then, and orange hair, much to your surprise

'Hmm... maybe it's a different model or something. Whatever, he looks cool, maybe I can gift him to someone' you thought and decided to buy him. You picked him up and you reached the counter and this time, someone was there. "You weren't there when I came here'' you spoke to the strange man sitting behind the counter. "Miss/ Sir, I was upstairs looking for something. Ah... will that be your purchase for the day?'' he asked you and you nodded and put the cash on the counter. "Do you believe in Christmas miracles?" he asked you suddenly and you looked at him in surprise. "Well, not really, sorry. Why do you ask though?" you replied and he joked "Well, it'll be a Christmas miracle if your little friend there comes alive one of these days'' "Oh yes, and I presume he'll also fall in love with me too'' you laughed. You should have chosen your words more carefully, Christmas miracles do happen.... and you would realize it soon enough

After you came back home, you placed the little Nutcracker doll on your dressing table and went to take a shower. But what you didn't know was that the little Nutcracker doll you'd just brought was alive, and he could turn into a life sized human being too. 'Their touch was so soft...I'll protect them with my life. But first let me see their room, to get rid of any objects that can harm my little sugar plum' (I gagged when I typed this💀) he thought to himself and got up, and started walking around. He saw a pair of scissors on your table and hid it somewhere so you wouldn't be able to harm yourself with it. Just then he heard you coming and stopped moving and pretended to be a doll again

You were feeling confused, didn't you just put the little Nutcracker doll on your dressing table? What was he doing on your study table then? You shrugged and picked him up and placed him on the dressing table again, thinking that you must have been hallucinating or something and you couldn't help but feel a bit weird whenever you gazed into his eyes. Why did it feel like he was watching you whenever you made a move? Your feelings were right indeed, in case you noticed some objects missing, your little friend was behind it

Soon you got an invite to a Christmas party and got ready to go for it. You thought of gift wrapping the little Nutcracker doll for your friend but you couldn't find any gift wrapping paper anywhere and you decided to give your friend the doll as it was. When you were walking, you passed by some people who looked like they were intoxicated from drinking too much alcohol. It was dark and there wasn't anyone in sight other than you and those creeps. "What's a lovely little thing like you doing out here all alone~" one of them slurred and you kept walking faster, hoping that if you ignored them they'd just continue to do their own thing

But you weren't really lucky at that moment and one of them grabbed your arm and yelled "I'll show you what happens to brats like you who dare to ignore us" and was about to hit you when a golden gleam of light appeared in front of you and you saw the Nutcracker doll standing in front of you, life sized and you could hardly believe your eyes. In front of you was the very same Nutcracker doll you'd just bought a week back and he had the most threatening look on his face as he growled at them "How DARE you lay your filthy hands on my sugar plum'' and he twisted his arm like it was nothing. When the others attempted to flee and get away, he removed his sword and managed to stab every single one of them and after he was done, he marched up towards you and cupped your face much to your horror. "The day you picked me from that shop, I promised I'd always protect you. We Nutcrackers are very loyal to people we love'' he spoke with a lovesick look in his eyes and when you attempted to get away from him, he just pulled you closer to him and whispered in your ear "You really should believe more in the magic of Christmas my dear. But don't worry, we'll have lots of time for that, right now it's time for me to take you home~" and in an instant, you fell asleep. You really should have kept a watch on your words and now, you were going to have to pay the price....
