THE MAGIC OF RAIN

So, it's raining cats and dogs where I live and I just had the most wonderful walk in the rain, usually I'm always holed up in my room due to tests and stuff. But I've decided to create a fic about this and I hope you guys enjoy :)

It's been a while since your friend Tadashi Yamaguchi kidnapped you because he thought you were too fragile to be left alone even though you were capable of defending yourself. You always liked and adored Yamaguchi, you saw him as one of your best friends till he went paranoid with fear for your safety and kidnapped you. The betrayal that your own friend would do something like this hurt and stung you a lot. For weeks you didn't want to even look at him much less talk to him and even though he promised to respect your wishes, your cold and silent treatment was killing him. He loved you with all his heart, he was even willing to give up his life for you but the love of his life aka. YOU was ignoring him which made him feel horrible. He felt like he was doing something wrong plenty of times and so he'd plead with you to at least spare him a glance and talk something to him

You felt a bit bad and you were tempted to do so, part of you felt like hugging him and telling him that he didn't need to cry but he kidnapped you. You hated yourself for slowly falling in love with your captor, you felt conflicting emotions swirl inside you everyday. Yamaguchi looked after you really nicely, he treated you really well never once hurting you or your feelings. Which was making it all the more harder for you to hate him. Besides he also said he loved you, love was something you craved very deeply but were too scared to ask for so he was taking it slow with you to not scare you off. Recently you've been warming up to him, not snapping back whenever he asks you a question, you no longer flinch when he decided to feed you and he feels so elated. You'd think he didn't notice the change in your behavior but he notices everything, literally EVERYTHING about you no matter what. He felt happy that you were speaking to him and heck, you didn't even let go of his hand when he decided to hold it. Oh, he felt like heaven truly was on Earth, right here with you

Currently you were reading a book and Yamaguchi was out somewhere buying groceries for the both of you. Of course you couldn't escape from the house since it had all the latest and the state of the art security system to prevent you from running. Besides, you've already abandoned any hope you had left escaping from him. You didn't really see the point anymore, he'd just drag you back home ignoring your cries and protests. But he also said he loved you so it felt a bit nice spending time with someone who liked you for who you were. 'Damn, what has my life become?' you sat and wondered to yourself as you stared out of the windows with your book in your hands, glancing at the sky filled with grey melancholic clouds, looking like it would rain at the moment. You've always found beauty in the rain, you felt like there was something magical about it. You liked the way the atmosphere was cold and breezy, with raindrops falling onto various surfaces and the sound the rain made as you go for walks in the rain, listening to slow songs or jazz, coming back home and sipping a nice warm drink as you watch the grey clouds relive itself from the rain. Ah, that was relaxing indeed

Just as you were thinking these thoughts a few drops fell against your window and you stood more closer to it as you admired the gentle rain pouring from the clouds. The atmosphere outside looked cold and grey, filled with a sense of dullness and melancholy and gloom. You found the rain relaxing. You watched as the rain fall on various surfaces making that gentle pitter patter noise. You smiled softly to yourself, relishing the beauty and you got an idea. You put your book aside, heart racing with excitement as you rushed to the backyard of the house you were in along with an MP3 Player and some earphones. You felt the rush of the cold breeze against your skin giving you goosebumps and you felt the tingle of excitement and happiness course through your body. You didn't remember the last time you felt so free, you're always usually so cooped up with stuff but this was the first time since a long time you felt free
