YANDERE TADASHI YAMAGUCHI X READER

You were a huge fan of Karasuno and you admired the way they play their games, with skill, determination and dedication 

You were friends with the members of the Karasuno team and they were friendly with you as well. Heck, even Tsukishima thought you were okay and god knows WHAT sorcery you've used on him but it's working. Yamaguchi was clingy like a koala every time you were around him and for some reason or the other he'd always be red and flustered whenever you'd look at him or your arms accidentally bump into each other's. Of course, the other Karasuno members get to know about Yamaguchi's little crush on you and they start teasing him about it and making fun of him. Especially Tsukishima till he grits his teeth and tries to deny it, much to their amusement but he's not fooling anybody 

For sure Tsukishima, Tanaka and Nishinoya are the types of dudes who are going to flirt with you in a harmless way to rile him up since they think it's funny and it's also about time he does something to speed up the process of asking you out. They can't figure out whether to laugh or cry or be sick watching you and Yamaguchi pine after each other like lovesick puppies struck by Cupid's arrow. Yamaguchi will get all jealous and pouty and he'll feel a bit insecure of himself when he sees other people flirting with you since you're a great person. You're kind and awesome and all in all, a wonderful person and he doesn't stand a chance with you. He thinks he doesn't deserve your attention and love and he's afraid of someone else coming into your life, someone better than him. He has a fear of replacement

But however he's still not okay with other people flirting with you and especially his own team members. Like dude, whatever happened to the bro code? Yamaguchi will be pissed and will have a friendly yet threatening smile on his face as he tells them they need to get going, telling you both that you have a project to work on. Tsukishima being the absolute jerk he is will say something like "Now now, don't do anything suspicious! The lord is always watching'' and him and the others will start snickering as you and Yamaguchi will just sit in the gym with awkwardness in the air

Yamaguchi was the first to break the silence and he nervously rubbed his neck and apologized for their behavior and you told him it was all right. He was nervous of his teammates or anyone else stealing you away from him and he had half a mind to storm out to where they were and strangle them. But you'd be scared of him and he doesn't want you being scared of him

He spoke "Well, now that you've seen them I suppose you're going to ask me how I'm not as strong or good looking like them right? Go right and laugh, it's what people do anyways and I'm used to the comparison by now. I'm what people call a replacement, and that's all I'll ever be'' and looked down much to your sadness. You felt bad about the way he was feeling, Yamaguchi was a really great guy and you wished he could see himself the same way you saw him. You decided to comfort him

You gently cupped his cheek and had a soft smile on your face as he leaned into your touch more. It was like he was a puppy leaning into your touch, yearning for some more. "Yams listen to me. I might not be that good at comforting people, I'll admit that but you are a great guy. You're good at comforting people when they're down, you're kind. Don't compare yourself to others and forget about the good qualities you have and want to know a little secret?" you asked him with a sly smirk playing across your lips slowly as he looked curious and his ears piped up with interest as he silently waited for you to continue

"Even though I like all the players, there is one specific one that I like. Clue, he's cute and he's sitting right in front of me and I'm talking with him at the moment'' and it took 2 seconds for him to register what you'd said and when it finally sunk into him that you were talking about him, he blushed a deep shade of red since you'd called him cute. This HAD to be the best day of his life, you'd admitted that he was cute. You LIKED HIM! Oh, could this day get any better? It did since you gently kissed him on the cheek and he was elated and really happy

Looks like he needs to be sad more often. It was definitely the start of a new relationship and Yamaguchi thanked you for comforting him as you both spent some time with each other in silence and Yamaguchi occasionally stealing a few glanced to you every now and then. You're his source of inspiration, his reason and purpose to live and you're right, he shouldn't bother about the rest of the world, as long as he has you, he can do anything
