Max had woken up first out of him and Val, he sat up in pain- of course you'd be in pain after that...
He groaned loudly, trying to get up from the bed. Val instantly shot up and saw his boy in pain- he felt bad to say the least. Val picked the boy up bridal style after getting up from the bed and carried him downstairs into the kitchen, he sat down with Max on his lap, his chef cooking up a meal for them both.
