Anastasija Martinez

His tongue played around mine while his hand traveled down to my thigh, squeezing it. He trailed his kisses down my cheek and to my neck, kissing over the area multiple times.

I opened my eyes and watched Rafael, his eyes on mine as he wrapped his arms around the waist of the girl playing with his hair.

Ryder trailed his kisses slowly down, and I watched as Rafael's jaw clenched.

A smirk formed on my lips before I moved my hands to Ryder's cheeks, cupping them and kissing him again. Our tongues collided and twirled around each other before his phone rang.

"Sorry my bad," he muttered after pulling away. He picked it up and answered.

"I got it," he said on the phone before hanging up.

"I'm sorry beautiful I have to go, enjoy yourself though." He apologized, planting a kiss on my cheek.
"No problem," I smiled, looking over to find Rafael gone.

I waited for Ryder to make his way out before I went out of the pool as well, I wrapped a towel around myself and followed him, making sure no one noticed.

He went upstairs and came down two minutes later, changed, and headed out the door.

I walked over to the window next to the door and opened the curtain slightly, watching him get in the car.

Fuck I should've attached a microphone somewhere with him.

I walked back to my purse and pulled out two microphones and one camera, sticking one microphone on the coffee table.

I looked around making sure no one was around before going upstairs. There were only two bedrooms, an empty one and one that was a mess.

I walked into the room and looked around, finding a pile of papers. I took photos of each paper I could find and sent them all to Elijah.

I kept looking for anything I may need but didn't find anything. I stuck the last microphone under the desk.

I couldn't find a laptop or any flash drive to check, so I walked out of the room and placed a camera next to the doorframe, giving a clear view of the hallway.

I went back down and checked my phone on the way.
Elijah: Come by tomorrow at 10:00
Me: Will do

I went back to the party and found Maya in the living room "Where were you?" She asked, tipsy.

"I'm looking for the bathroom"
"Did you find it?" She asked again.
"Yup," I smiled, wrapping my arm around her waist and walking back to the pool.

It was already 10 pm and I had to go home but Maya wouldn't let me. We continued taking shot after shot and beer after beer.

I laid down on the couch, a bottle of champagne in my hand as Maya laid her head on my shoulder "I seriously need to get home" I uttered as I chugged down some more champagne.

"Oh come on! Sleepover" she grunted
"No I have to go," I argued, pulling myself up and then falling back down on the couch.

"Aren't you too drunk to drive?" She asked
"No I'll be fine" I grunted as I got up, wrapping my dress jacket around myself
"I'll come over tomorrow," I waved as she nodded.

I grabbed my purse and pulled it over my shoulder, I pulled the door handle down and the door wouldn't open. My lips started to tremble, I tried five more times before getting it to open.

I closed the door, I think, and walked over to my car, opening my purse and going through it. I went through my purse for about 20 minutes and tried not to break down while doing so, but failed.

Frustration was not a good friend to me.

Tears streamed down my face as I leaned my back on the car and slowly bent down, now sitting on the floor and crying as I looked through my purse over and over again.

I threw my purse to the ground and cupped my face with my hands, my sobs continuing, most probably a result of the alcohol.

"What the fuck," I heard a raspy voice say, I lifted my head to find Rafael standing, looking down at me.

"I can't find my k-keys" My voice cracked while I looked up at him, my vision getting blurry as tears got caught on my eyelashes.

"My god Mariana" he whispered as he picked my purse up, "Can I look for your keys?"

I took a minute or five to make sure nothing that would ruin my identity is in there. "Yeah you can look," I answered

He pulled out my keys almost instantly making me squint my eyes in confusion.

He held his hand out for me, I held his hand and he pulled me up. I leaned on him and wrapped my arms around his bicep as he walked me over to the passenger side, unlocking the car and opening the door.

He bent me down slowly and held onto my legs, moving them inside the car. I leaned my head back in pain, the headache started to hit.

He got in and started the car, I glanced at him opening the location and checking for my house, my eyes widened at the direction, it was the direction of the house Elijah gave me for missions. Completely forgetting it existed.

The drive was silent, he didn't say a word and I didn't speak either, the headache kept me distracted.

We arrived and I watched as we got closer to the house, all the memories of the past reminiscing in my head. I tried opening the door but it wouldn't open, and more tears of frustration rolled down my cheeks.

I couldn't tell if my tears were from frustration or from the fact I don't want to re-live those memories.

"Wait," he ordered as he got out and walked over to my side, opening my door and wrapping his arm around the back of my knees, the other around my back.

He carried me and closed the door with his leg, walking over to the door.

"Keys?" He asked.

"Uhhh, behind the lamp" I answered as we approached the door. He lifted his hand to the lamp next to the light and pulled the keys out, unlocking the door and getting in.

"Upstairs" I whispered as I laid my head down on his chest, closing my eyes as the smell of cigarettes and oud filled my nostrils.

I woke up a little later to the feeling of warmth leaving my side, I held onto a pair of arms "stay," I insisted.

The warm embrace came back.
