Anastasija Martinez

I woke up curled up in the covers, I looked around to realise this was the house Elijah has me use.

I quickly remembered that Elijah wanted me in the office, I got up and looked over at me phone, 9:15.

I slept in the same swimsuit I went to the party in, the headache of the hangover still aching.

I got up and took a quick shower, I pulled on some of the formal clothes I had in this house before I headed over to the office.

On the way all I could do is try to remember everything that happened yesterday. All I could remember was getting drunk at the party, also Ryder.

I arrived and parked in my usual spot, making my way out and into the building. I made my way over to the elevator and waited for it to arrive.

As soon as it opened, the person inside was someone I could recognize. Dark skin, blue eyes, and a type of watch I've definitely seen too.

I shrugged it off and clicked the 8th floor button. I took a glance at him one more time before making my way out and over to Elijah's office.

"Sit down, how has it been?" He asked.
"All good," I reassured as I sat down,

He asked me to tell him everything that happened, and so I did.

"We got a lot out of those cameras." He smiled
"Really? Good." I muttered.

"But it's not enough, Anastasija."
"I'm doing everything I can possibly do." I sighed, pressing my palms together.

"Therefore, today at 7 pm, your house will get flooded. You will have no choice but to stay with you're so called bestfriend, Maya."

My eyes widened. "The house will stay under construction for atleast 3 months, so till graduation." He continued.

"Okay.."
"I will charge money onto your cards, you can buy all new things and settle in with them."

I nodded "That's why I chose you" he smirked as he folded some papers on his desk.

We discussed a few more things before I checked the clock again, it was already 2 o'clock. I grabbed my stuff and made my way to the house.

I still hadn't gotten used to that house, I never will. It's filled with memories I don't like to reminisce.

I arrived and picked out some of the things I kept there that I couldn't bare to lose, like some purses.

I stuffed them into my trunk and waited till it hit 7. I picked up my phone and ordered some Chinese food.

I ate my food and cleaned out the kitchen, taking out the trash.

I picked up my phone and called Maya, putting on a devastated voice.

"Hello?" She answered.
"Maya?" I sniffled,
"What's wrong?" She shouted, worried.

"M-My house just fucking flooded and I don't know what to do." I sobbed, watching water drain out of the house door.

"I'm coming, you'll stay with me" she commanded softly.
