kura smiled down at her phone, unable to conceal the blush tinting her cheeks.

"who are you messaging?" yoonmi chimed, trying to lean over her shoulder.

kura shoved her away, tucking her phone into her bag. "none of your business, and who taught you to be so nosy."

yoonmi leaned back in the salon chair, narrowing her eyes at her elder. "you're hiding something, unni."

the girl sighed, throwing her hair over her shoulder. "focus on what's going on with you. did you talk to jeno yet?"

yoonmi's face immediately fell and she folded her arms before turning her head to the side in a childish manner. "no, and i don't plan on it."

"yoon, you're going to have to discuss it sooner or later."

"what's there to discuss? he broke up with me out of nowhere and didn't bother explaining himself. it's pretty obvious there's no coming back from this."

kura let out a soft laugh, and yoonmi looked wholly offended. "did you just laugh at me?"

"i'm sorry, i just honestly thought you were more mature than this."

"are you taking his side?" yoonmi challenged, eyes wide.

"there are no sides, mimi. you're both being ridiculous."

"excuse me, miss? it's time for your hair to be rinsed." the hairdresser's voice sounded from behind them and yoonmi and kura bowed their head in apology before the former walked away.

kura reclined in her seat with a big stretch, exhausted by the situation. she really had no idea what to think but what she did know was that it was best for them to not jump to conclusions.
