Seokjin's Pov

"That's very kind of Aya. She never changed." I said while watching them play with the bubbles.

"How about you? How long have you been friends with Namjoon?" She curiously asked.

"Namjoon is not my friend..." I faced her and saw that her face looks so confused while looking at me, making me chuckle with her innocence. "Namjoon is not my friend because he's my cousin, Sunhi."

"Ohh, okay... No wonder, you both have Kim as your surname." She shyly said while rubbing her nape.

"Yeah, he's my cousin because my dad and his dad are brothers. We're both the only child of our parents that's why we are very close to each other. I'm a year older than him but we both went to school at the same time, because he skipped the 1st grade since his intelligence was more advanced than the usual. About Aya, she and I were classmates since the start until the 12th grade of high school, and we became friends during those years."

"Really? So you know Jimin too?" She asked in surprised.

"Yup, he's also a good friend of mine. By the way, do you want to know more about those two?" I asked while pointing to them.

"Sure! I would love to hear about their history." She excitedly said while continuously nodding her head.

"Well, you see, Namjoon likes Aya ever since we were young. Namjoon's family owns a five-star hotel in Ilsan while my family owns one in Gwacheon. We are one of the largest customers of Aya's family business, which is wine and other alcoholic beverages, since the start of our hotel business. If I'm not mistaken, for almost half a century. With that reason, it is a tradition to invite the Lee's in every social gatherings of our hotel and that's where Namjoon first saw Aya. If I was 13 years old that time and Namjoon is 12, which makes her 11 when he first saw Aya with her parents. He even interfered by asking them if she was the one who was wearing this gown color, with a brunette hair, a fair skin, and more. That's when they knew that he likes her, and since then, they never forget to invite the Lee's to every event we have at their hotel."

"Wow, that's so amazingly adorable."

"But, sadly, Aya never noticed Namjoon."

"Hm, Aya said that they became classmates during 8th grade, maybe that's when she noticed him?"

It made me laugh remembering the real reason behind that.

"You know what? There's a funny story on how they became classmates during high school. You see, at the first day of school of 7th grade, I was surprised to know that Aya and I were classmates so I immediately boast that out to Namjoon, just to tease him. He was so upset because he went to a different high school, even though his parents were persuading him to enroll to the same school as mine. What he did next, he immediately asked his parents to transfer him to where I was studying but they just transferred him after the 7th grade." I chuckled and can't help but to reminisce that memory.

"Namjoon seems persistent, huh?" She mumbled and I nodded.

"During vacation, Namjoon was very excited to start the school year because he will be able to see Aya everyday. He never missed any school day, even if he was sick, just to see her. And because of Aya's kind nature, she is very friendly and kind to everyone and that's when she noticed Namjoon. I can still remember how speechless Namjoon was when Aya approached him for the first time, to tell him that he left his handkerchief on his desk and gave it to him. He never washed nor used that handkerchief again, up until now, and kept it that way. I've never seen my cousin that happy before. He's not obsessed, he's just so in love with her. She's Namjoon's first love and he never loved any girl aside from her."
