LATER THAT SAME night, after listening to Meredith ramble on about Demetri, I'm sat on my bed with a book in hand.

I'm not even truly reading, I just picked the book up to maybe help my boredom.

Which is why I'm so thankful when theres a few small taps at the door.

I happily hop out of bed and skip over to the door, pulling it open with enthusiasm.

I'm even more happy to see Aro standing there with a smile.

I smile back at him and step to the side to allow him in, "Aro, come in."

He steps past me, thanking me.

I close the door behind him.

"So, what's up?" I sit back on the bed, my feet dangling over the sides.

He sighs, "I have something I need to tell you, I should've told you long ago."

I raise an eyebrow, "What is it?"

"We vampires sometimes possess abilities, gifts if you will." He says, my mind immediately goes to when Marcus was telling me about his gift, I nod.

"Marcus had talked to me about them a little." I tell him.

He nods, "Do you remember when he told you how he 'showed' me the bonds?" he sounds slightly anxious now.

How does he know that? I don't think Marcus would've told him anything.

"How did you...?" I trail off.

He takes a deep breath, "My gift is tactile telepathy, I can see every thought a person has ever had with just a touch."

"Every thought?" I choke out.

He nods silently.

I can't even think of every time he's held my hand.

A shiver crawls up my spine. He knows every single thought I've had. Every emotion I've felt. I suddenly feel very violated.

"Amore?" He calls out. I must've been silent for some time now.

I push my self off of the bed and back away from him.

"You know everything, then?" I hiss, "Stuff I'm not even comfortable telling my family?"

"I really wish I didn't." His voice is soft, barley above a whisper. "I cannot control what I see, Isadora."

"You should've told me, Aro." I'm slightly more relaxed now, my voice doesn't sound as angry.

"I know, amore. I'm so very sorry." He takes a wary step forward. "I'll never touch you again if that is what you please." That idea doesn't seem keen to him, the saddened expression that flashes across his face tell me that.
