Nobody

I wander down this road that leads nowhere. I came from nowhere. Not that I can remember. I can't remember anything.

Who am I?

Something's wrong with me. I see nothing. I hear nothing. I feel nothing.

I wander down this road that leads nowhere. Light intensifies, just like before, forcing me to look into its yellow beam. Just like before, it illuminates my surroundings. In those moments, I can see the forest again. I've tried to walk through it but always find myself back here... on this road.

The yellow beams get closer as they split in two. I pause, waiting for them, beckoning them to me. Just like before, they pass through me. And I feel nothing.

Panicked people screaming as I traveled through their car. They crash off the side of the road, forever joining my torment. I used to feel remorse. I used to help, but that stopped long ago.

I wander down this road that leads nowhere, like everyone else. I came from nowhere, like everyone else.

Who am I?

I'm nobody.
