Once upon a time long ago
Lived A Lion in a forest,
He used to kill many animals
While hunting he never rests.
So the animals made an agreement
That one of them each day
Will be sent to The Lion as his meal
The others will be safe this way.
But one day it was a hare who
Came late to The Lion as a meal,
He was frightened by something
The Lion asked about what he feels.
The hare was very small and young
He said in an innocent tone,
"Lion King! There's another Lion
In the well. He is fully grown."
The Lion in surprise asked more
"He is huge and more dangerous
He even said he's The King here
And in the well, he is making a fuss."
The Lion in anger asked The Hare
To take him to that Lion's well,
"He can't be stronger than me
All the powers in this world I dwell."
The Lion and The Hare went
To the well, The Hare was scared,
But The Lion wanted to fight
About nothing, he ever cared.
He looked inside the well and
Saw A Lion as huge as him,
He was equally angry
But he looked a little dim.
The Lion roared loudly and then
The Lion inside roared too,
The furious Lion outside jumped
In the well, he never knew...
...that there was no Lion inside
But just the reflection of his body,
And the roar was his voice
Echoing among the trees.
So The Hare went back safely
After destroying the arrogant King,
Now nobody will become the meal
The animals can happily sing.
So we now know that powers
Are useless without a brain,
And a present mind can do anything
And will never go in vain.
