Once upon a time long ago
There was held a race,
Between the fast hopping rabbit
And the turtle slow in pace.

They started and the rabbit
Jumped and hopped and ran,
While the turtle crawled slowly
But in his mind, he had a plan.

The rabbit who was far ahead
Looked back to the turtle slow,
He was nowhere in the sight
With his speed nowhere he can go.

So he started eating the carrots
And when full he went to sleep,
But the turtle was still not visible
So he made a delightful leap.

He quickly reached the final spot
But Alas! His delight was gone,
To see the turtle already there
The slowest in the jungle who was born.

The turtle worked hard till the end
And actually defeated the hare,
So we should always remember
We can do anything if we only dare.
