o. Ketterdam was a city for those who long for chaos and disaster. Cobble streets gave away every move, brothels and gambling dens lining the streets. Danger lurker around every corner, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The people of the city had grown tough skin, able to fight of pickpocketers and those wanting to take advantage through the cover of the dark. Coins clanked together, loud jeers, and subtle moans filled the streets, lining up with the thick smog in the air around the city. The Crow Club — which was built from nothing — was the most prosperous club in the city, the walls protected by the Dregs.

oo. Dinara Petrov was a name that striked fear in most. She hid in the shadows, using them to her advantage, making her a skilled killer. Nobody was able to hold her down, besides one man— Kaz Brekker. Her dregs tattoo rested on her forearm, invading and burning her skin. She found the thing repulsive and intrusive, big and bold on her arm — yet, loved it at the same time. Her famous hat rested lopsided on her head, guns rested at her hips, and her knives strewn about her dainty body. It was a mystery how she was able to hold so many weapons. Hell, her 5'4 body was a mystery to all, except the men who had seen her before their death.

ooo. Blood was a normal part of her wardrobe, staining all of her clothes, making her spend more money on clothes than needed. Her wardrobe was the one thing she had pride in. Long trench coats, pants, and a few expensive dresses lined the interior. The dresses were only used on her excursions, gifted to her by Kaz. He would find little notes strewn across his desk after he had sent her on a job, leaving him to go and purchase the exact dress — her payment for doing the dirty work. Dinara enjoyed the look of dresses hugging her body, resting against every curve, showing off her cleavage.

oooo. So when the devil comes back with a job, the only reasonable thing to do is say yes. Bringing her, to defy the odds.
